আজকে একদম দুর্ধর্ষ । শ্রীকান্তর hash brown কে আলুর চপ আর baked beans কে বোঁদে was absolutely superlative . আমার ভীষণ ভাল লেগেছে এই স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত সরলতা । আমরা বিদেশী খাবার দেখলেই fork knife নিয়ে spartacus হয়ে যাই আর অতি ভদ্রতা করে , ঠোঁট টিপে প্রায় না চিবিয়ে খাওয়াকে একটা fashion statement করে ফেলি । কিন্তু আজকে একদম নিজের মেজাজে, নিজের তালে সব কিছু করতে দেখে খুব তৃপ্তি হোল । আপনার মাকে দেখলে আমার মায়ের কথা মনে হয় । সেই গাছ প্রীতি , সেই নিজের বাড়ির খাবার পছন্দ করা , বাইরে খেতে যেতে বললে ' তোরা ঘুরে আয় ' বলা । তবে আমি আপনার মার সঙ্গে একমত, অনেকটাই । আমি আঠারো বছর পর সবে দেশে ফিরেছি । I will definitely prefer লুচি, আলুরদম, শিঙাড়া, অমৃতি to a continental brekky. আমি বোধহয় সেই rare species এর একজন যে এতদিন australia তে থেকেও pizza, burger and donut খেতে শিখলাম না । আজকের পোস্ট একদম ফাটাফাটি । যাকে বলে let the spirit roll.

খুব ভালো লাগলো, আমার বাড়ির কাছেই গ্যালিফ স্ট্রীটে আমাকে বিভিন্ন দরকারে প্রায় ই যেতে হয় ,তাই তোমাদের ওখানে দেখে খুব ই ভাল লাগল। তবে ওখানে আসবার সেরা সময় বেলা দুটোর পরে তখন অনেক অনেক কমে গাছ, পাখি পাওয়া যায়।
