I will be roasting every Link design from The Legend of Zelda. Games in the series include: The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Adventure of Link, A link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. With The Legend of Zelda: TotK RIGHT around the corner, it's good to take a look back at all the Link designs.

TP Link honestly has the most functional outfit though. We got the chain mail under the tunic, he's actually wearing proper pants and not tights or shorts, asymmetrical arm guards for his sword and shield arms respectively. I love the Zelda series as a whole, each entry is familiar but it's own unique experience, but Twilight Princess has just the right addition of functional realism in some of the designs to make it really pleasing visually.

As shown by the official art of a lttp link. As for manga, their are non canon Zelda mangas that retail the story’s of the game involving its respective link. There was a twilight princess manga, Oot and MM manga. A phantom hourglass and four swords manga and so on.

My favorite is the original. It just felt more like a medieval fantasy design. I liked the sleeves being a different color, and the simplicity of his gear. Wish wed get a full 3d game in the style of twlight princess but using the original designs. Ocarina of time was originally being made that way, and it looked so good. My other favorite is twilight princess link. Its like this blend of a knight and a forest elf. Very good design. Loved the chainmail and intricate details of the tunic. Also liked how he seems to be the oldest link weve ever played as.

Nope, the oldest Link is Totk Link as he is probably around 119, but even without the technicality he would still be roughly 19 which is considerably older than the second oldest link which is Skyward Sword

@@Soulintent95 actually skyward sword, twilight princess and Botw Link (pre 100 years) are all the same age. That of course being 17, twilight princess Link is just the most noticeable due to how buff he is, most likely because of how he grew up on a farm. Leading to him being far more physical active than most other Links before their heroic journey. Genes also most likely play a part in it as Botw Link, even before pulling the master sword at around 12-13 was a well skilled swords men who fought and defeated well trained soliders. Also like to point out that Botw/Totk Link, even when you take away the 100 years is still the oldest Link as of now as there was a time skip in between games. Botw Link is now in his early 20’s… well 120’s but you get the point. Making him the only Link we play as to reach adulthood.

I’ll be honest, I don’t like twilight princess that much. I never liked the idea of a realistic Zelda game. Zelda always felt like it was supposed to be a fantasy game in the cartoony graphics felt like it went with the Lord better in my opinion. SNES link, the one with pink hair is actually because it was a glitch in the programming and his actual brown hair shows instead the pink color. So we all just accepted that. And is considered iconic. Also he has a title, not only he is known as a link to the past link, his hero title is the hero of light and dark. Since light world and dark world is his story. And others have their titles. Hero of time, hero of the sky, etc.

I’m pretty sure it was just that they ran out of usable colors for his sprite, you had limited colors to use on a sprite and they had to make his hair pink to make the rest of his sprite normal. If it was a “programming glitch” it would’ve been fixed asap.
