My budget build has a ryzen 5 5600x with a xfx rx5700xt graphics alongside 4x8 of ram and a 500gb ssd drive all for $394, good deal or what ?

That’s a decent pc still. You basically have rtx 3060 performance without ray tracing. Could always upgrade the gpu later.

I got a PC in March that has an MSI Z370-A PRO Motherboard, i7 8700k, ASUS GTX 1060 6GB Turbo, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3000MHz, Corsair H100i 240mm AIO cooler, and a Kediers C570 open air case with 7 RGB fans for $300. Did I pat too much? I don't think so.

Not terrible considering you got a gpu. Probably will want to upgrade at some point but you can likely get a decent gpu upgrade in considering your psu is up to the job.

I have a Ryzen 7 5700G, 32gb of ram and a GTX 1060 6gb card, it plays almost every game I want it to, even Starfield at low settings, I'm getting 35-40 FPS, good enough for me :)

I have a PC that has an FX8320, Radeon HD 7950 3GB, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM. It just needs a PSU and storage. I no longer use the PC as I upgraded to a newer PC. You can have my old PC if you pay for the shipping.

My low-low budget "gaming rig" consists of a very cheap and nasty 15cm monitor (surprisingly 1080p) purchased as a "security monitor" from Amazon, has hdmi, vga and composite and can run off a cigarette lighter in a car so very handy for quickly testing things (this wad $45aud) And for the "gaming pc" a lenovo thinkcentre m900 tiny with 16gb 2400mhz ddr4, 500gb nvme and a 1 tb sata hdd, and i5 6500t ...as you'd imagine gaming on somthing as fast as a cheese burger on a screen twice the size of the average smart phone is not pleasant by any stretch..but surprisingly gtaV on all low settings runs at a fairly consistent 30fps... obviously no modern AAA titles... but pre 2013 stuff goes good... the lenovo was $45aud... I also picked up a generic usb keyboard and mouse from Amazon for $10aud... So all in my "gaming setup" was $100aud
