@@prashantify I'm Indian so I know the struggle, plus the limits of being in hostel rooms and hostel furniture. I won't even bother submitting a laptop setup like that to Matthew however, clearly asking for a roast.

@@amantedecapaldi4037 ​ As an Indian, you gotta be pretty well off for your parents to buy you a gaming laptop that's 40% above US MSRP because of taxes. Most indian kids ask their parents for a laptop because they're going to university and need a laptop for studies. They;re either on the cusp of joining the uni/college (17-18 years old, hence the Grade 12 book at 7:41) or have come back home from uni/college after COVID-19 forced the campuses to close (for example, 3:43, literally a living room/dining table being used for a setup)..

TY for the video! I hooked it up to my Nvidia 3090 (tried display port to USB-C and HDMI to USB C / as my 3090 has no USBc ) and no luck- neither device seems acknowledge . Wonder if a window driver update may help or vice versa on the SDisplay (update) ? suggestions please?

started with x1c 7gen, second one with mbp 16 1TB and 16G ram, and third one XPS 15 9500 64G RAM and currently 2 x 2TB samsung nvme , increasing to 4TB sabrent. However If I can resell all these, I just want to own one laptop which is MBP16 with 8TB and 64GB

As a noob programmer, I honestly think the first setup is actually great. Its especially great for comp sci students who can't afford a monitor and that's how I plan mine to be in the future. So apart from some specifics in this video being not so great like the laptop's trackpad and cable management, I actually think the overall setup is nice and simple and I have no problem with it in fact I think its dope af, as long as it gets the Job done P.S - I don't know how one might look at it from a Gaming aspect but I am coming from a programmer aspect and I think it's actually nice

As an indian I know, that majority of teens don't even have a seperate room here. People in your country might cry on not having the latest Apple product. But here in India kids struggle for buying a single low-end PC/Laptop/Smartphone. Indian middle class families are not that financially strong that they'll care about the asthetic, background or desksetup. All we want is our work to be done and that's what satisfy us still we feel pride and are grateful to our parents for what they've owned us and we're happy too. We Indians face the real issues, the real struggle yet we smile. Afterall happiness is the true wealth.

10:40 I actually tried to mitigate the monitor distance by hooking it up to an arm, until the weight of the monitor made the arm kind of, uh, sink into the cheap IKEA desk.
