Not even seniors! 😂. I've seen legendary artists on Twitter kindly give some tips/advice to the art community, and it's always seniors who can't handle it. They always take it way too literally and tear it apart because "it's not friendly enough". People, especially those of us who are learning a skill, need to grow a thicker skin.

agree. the only way to improve is through honesty. someone has to take an honest look at your drawings and tear them apart so you can learn how to build them back up. this was how i learned every skill i eventually became good at... journal writing for chemistry/biology, piano playing, and martial arts. can be for anything. applies to so much!

They are most likely using art on a professional level (like a job) and getting random criticism doesn't help them at all, especially when they constantly chase deadlines for their works. Please understand them since they are mostly burnt out and stressed by how much their doing, and unwanted criticism given to them isn't helping

My hot tip is to save evry drawings/paintings even those you deemed as misstakes. You will take time to improve and learn threw evry succsess and failures and after few month redraw them all.. longer you do better it is so when you take time to see your own progress and improvement you have them to be your guide. Worst thing one do is to compare ones Work agenst other artists and that brings your mood down. One rule is to Only compare your old Work with your New Work and see how you grow. Take inspiration and tips from other artist but you cant compare yourself with them as Most has more drawing hours then oneself

Its probably more for religious reasons. In Islam, its (according to certain scholars , though it isnt universally agreed) haram to draw living things with their eyes or noses since its like trying to create something thats living i.e. trying to put yourself on the level of God. Couldnt find this person's account, but if theyre muslim this is probably why.
