Roat : in frypan, easy quick & traditional recipe

ingredients:
2 cup whole wheat flour
¼ cup Ghee
2 tbsp ghee
100 gm grated dry coconut
2 tbsp grated dry fruits
2 tbsp ghee
½ cup semolina
⅛ tsp green cardamom powder
2 pinch salt
300 gm powder sugar
¼ cup Ghee
some water
some coconut ,poppy seeds,magaz & dry fruits for garnishing
• total ghee used 150 gm

Thank u mam! I'm from Tamilnadu! For making ROAT, we first prepare MEWA with grated coconut, cashew, poppy seeds, raisins (kishmish) n sugar (seeni ) by roasting them. Then we add it with flour n sooji (semolina) then make it dough with ghee and required hot water. Then the dough will be made as a flattened ROAT and fry both side with ghee. You cooked ROAT without frying in ghee. That's different. This ROAT is made once in a year during Rajab Months Bhoori(yan) Fathiha with Bhoori and Firni (Kheer).
