Those were days when a win against Zimbabwe was precious. Infact till 1999 to early 2000 they haf more match winners and allrounders in the team than India. They had Neil Jhonson, Flower brothers, Andy Blignaut, Alister Cambel, Struart Carlise, Guy Whittel, Craig Ervin, Edo Brandis, Heat Streak, Paul Stang, Henry Olanga, Mangwa. I remember watching this game as a Kid, Great to refresh such memories after 23 Years! From 87-5 to 287, Great Knock by Sehwag, Dravid and Kaif backed by Kumble! That time 2 Brothers were very effective, Mark Waugh and Steve Waugh from The Nearly Invincible AUS, and the Grant Brothers from Zimbabwe! Andy Flower was one of the BEST Players Zimbabwe ever had!

I remembered the match. It was the first match of India in ICC CT 2002.Came back from the school on that day and saw that Indians were suffering from top order batting collapse. But finally the Indians set a fighting total after a massive fight back which concludes with a memorable victory. Now today it's 21 years later, still revisiting down the memory lane. What a nostalgic moment.

There were so many allrounders in the Indian team that's why the team's balance was perfect. Sachin was bowling the 48th over, that was the greatness and speciality of that team. Now we lack all-rounders like Yuvraj, Sehwag, Sachin, Sourav, Raina who can bowl also when needed.

sachin, saurav, sehwag-- if cant score runs, will try to take wickets... yuvi- if cant score runs, will field like a cheetah, bowl with 100 percent. rauhl-- will try to score runs, will keep wickets for 50 overs. this team had players who will give their 100 percent and more. they had passion thats unmatched.. even bhajji, kumble, zaheer, agarkar will try score runs with bat. current team might have rohit, kohli, bumrah, dhawan etc but they are more one dimensional than not. we need players who will not back down from anything.
