Hey, Rob. i have recently purchased one of your belts, very happy with it. the only problem is i can't seem to find any weights for it. i am hoping to get the style of weight that you use in this video. I am from Australia, any ideas where i can get some lead? Cheers.

Thank you. I am a beginner and you look to be about the same size as I am. What size wet suit so you have? Do you suggest a one or two part suit?
@RobAllenSpearfishing3 жыл бұрын
This is not an easy answer. It all depends on where you are going to dive, how cold the water is, which you prefer, what your budget is etc. Where in the world do you dive?

@@RobAllenSpearfishing thanks for your reply I will be mainly diving in the NSW coast of eastern Australia if you are familiar with Newcastle. Water temps might get down to 15C in winter and 25c in summer. Thanks

Rob, I own one of your belts. After watching this video i ordered another belt because the one i have is too small on my hips and waist. The problem i ran into was, your website dosen't sell the 3 bar clip. Any way i can find or get one??

@@joealleyne132 You will have to get the RA distributor to bring it in for you. Problem is, he only brings in gear once or twice a year and the last order just left last week. It's not a difficult thing to make if you have a s/s plate.

how do you lock the position of the domed weights?
@RobAllenSpearfishing4 жыл бұрын
The rear section, the part that will lie against the body is thin. Once you are happy with the location, use another weight or a small hammer and just knock in that section of the lead to pinch against the belt. Very easy to do. Check out 1:42 I mention this in the video. If you still need to move it, simply stretch the belt and slide it up or down. As soon as you release the stretched belt it will lock back into its new location. If you take it off, you might need to use a large flat screwdriver to stretch it open again to use on say another belt.

Might be a bit dangerous having line attached to belt, could be wrong, just doesn’t seem right ?

This person can make a diving belt but a normal person will make an accidental death belt but anyway don’t try at home
