Just been watching a lot of Tragically Hip interviews. Really hope these guys keep producing music. Love the Hip.

I'm very happy to hear that Rob has a book in the works. I read Never Ending Present, and although I loved it, I found I wanted to know more about the other band members and their take on things. Excellent interview. Thank you.

I worked at his bank... He and his girlfriend were very nice and down to Earth. Salt of the Earth people.

I saw my first Hip show in 89. I absolutely love going back and listening to old concerts if they were professionally recorded. Can stand the fan camera they sound like garbage. Eagerly awaiting more good concert drops. Thanks Rob

Boys, stay the cource great job.... Did Gordie ever discuss the band without him ???

There is no band without any of them. Did you not listen at all. They were/are best friends

@gcanada3005 well, thank you for correcting me. How dare I ask such a stupid question. Your guidance on this topic has been most inspirational in guidance for my thought process and question asking... Merry Christmas/ boxing day.. PS. I MISS GREAT MUSIC AS WELL....

@@kiesha104 You’re welcome. You obviously lacked the basic insight into this situation. Even a rudimentary knowledge of The Tragically Hip would make one realize there is no band without one of them. Maybe instead of typing without basic understanding, some should learn first, type later. I do enjoy enlightening the woefully ignorant on the internet. You are welcome. Also, much less ignorant of the subject than you were before our interaction. I’ve done my good deed for the day.

@gcanada3005 rest assured we all have a better understanding of your enlightening character... Buddy would be proud.. Honestly I'm just jealous that there are no Tim Hortins where I live and has a tendency to make me crabby...bwahahaha

@@kiesha104 Not sure who “Buddy” is nor do I care. Only imbeciles drink or eat at Tim Hortons. Their cheap coffee is a little worse than warm dog piss. Maybe the next time you start with someone on the internet, in a vain attempt to show some sort of superiority, you will remember this incident. I always try to enlighten in a cordial manner. As I am Canadian. Why don’t you go back to doing what Americans did best for 30 years. Ignore the Tragically Hip, simply because they aren’t American. If the Hip was American, Gordie would have been bigger than Jim Morrison. Find me another band that has 3 albums in a row without a mediocre song somewhere, never mind all great songs. Up to Here, Road Apples and Fully Completely will go against any 3 in history from any band. First time I saw them in concert was 1989. So if I sound “superior” on the subject. It’s because I simply am. How about just saying in the beginning, “yep you were correct”, that “my initial statement was short sighted” and save yourself the embarrassment. Unfortunately the world we live in is full of people who can never admit they were wrong or worse don’t have a clue of which they speak. The Tragically Hip were/are true friends. There is no going on like nothing happened
