This is probably the most casually hilarious comedy I have ever seen, but also the most calm and emotional and humane. It's perfect.

Rob Brydon is like your slightly reclusive, but excitable, friend who doesn’t get out much and have much interaction with others, so when he does escape his enthusiasm and excitement at being able to converse with others can be somewhat overwhelming at best. Love him though!

Coogan was just implying that Alan Bennett (the guy Brydon is impersonating) would have said "me" rather than "I".

It should be "me." Deconstructed, the sentence should go: Jonathan, that much cleverer than me. Coogan is being grammatically correct, but it's Brydon, in fact, who is making a statement about Alan bennett, implying that he is prone to hypercorrection, saying "I" because it sounds more traditional rather than actually correct.
