Talk about leave it late. This game took me right back when Luton played Palace at the old girl and we were 60 seconds away from going down, before Dowie popped up and scored to make it 1-0. Could this point again save our season? COYH!!

Brilliant result for us in the end gave the ball away regularly and made some silly errors but it has been quite a battle this season but we dont give up and we never give in !!! We are the famous Luton town!! COYH

Great point. Only downside being another couple of injuries. Luton can ill afford anymore, the squad is starting to look thin. Real bad luck with inuuries since the turn of the year.

Both took slight knocks. Mengi's tight hamstring and Osho took a knock on the knee. He said to MOTD, have to wait and see but doubtful if long term injuries.

@@welcome2mytruth knocks less of a worry, but a tight hamstring probably means Mengi is out of the crunch games against Bournemouth and Forest which would be a huge blow. Can't push it with an injury like that

Ok, I’m a Luton fan, but I really do not understand the general tone of positivity from the comments on this page. It wasn’t a ‘great point’ - it was a very ‘lucky point’ - we played horrifically for most of the game, yet again conceding a stupid, early goal with a piss-poor back-pass and then couldn’t even muster more that a single shot on goal until we scored right in the last seconds of added time. We never looked like a threat in open play at all and we were let off totally by Palace’s poor finishing. Barkley was doing his best but he was surrounded by several team mates who simply didn’t share his desire to run at the opposition, put them under pressure and move the ball forward - there were several infuriating moments when we ended up needlessly passing the ball back to Kaminski from our positions deep in their half - it happened several times. It was an awful display of football from both sides really - let’s be honest - and as ive said elsewhere, both teams can be thankful they weren’t playing almost anyone else.

With the players out right now an away point when we didn’t deserve it is incredible. Another point closer to safety, the performance doesn’t matter as long as you get the results needed
