Rob, thanks for your service. You are the epitome of what a soldier should be. The world would be a much better place with more people like you in it.

Wow this is amazing. As a Canadian I’ve known of Rob for many years, and watched all his content on KZbin but never seen him open up like this before. What an incredible Canadian

Great interview. As a fellow Canadian, I'm proud of Mr. Furlong's service for our country and glad he's found a place where he can be with his fellow brothers and a way to share his knowledge with others.

I remember learning about this man's mission on the military channel as quite a young boy. It completely changed how I viewed shooting even then. Now as I learn more and more recently getting into reloading, it is absolutely astonishing. Thank you to all the Men and Women who fought for our freedoms and rights.

This man walks the walk and talks the talk! If you can’t see the level of integrity and respect of this man listening to this video then you’ll never understand him. He’s the best example of the kind of soldier that I would proudly serve with. I salute you! As a retired US Army Sergeant Major.

Not only is this guy a legend as a sniper, but the work he does in the shooting community is more legendary than his legendary shot!

Having taken his precision rifle 1 course as a civilian (planning to take more). It is a fantastic and top notch program. You really can see the brotherhood between the instructors. I would highly recommend it! Rob and his instructor put on a well organized and put together course that makes its students better shooters!

One is a medic and one is in sniper school now. Thank you so much for your service and this interview so we can see what really happens. God Bless you and your team.

Damn man....the segment he talked about how we get 'steak' really hit me hard. It gave me a whole new perspective on battle and how it's portrayed by media and politicians. It was in the army but I was lucky enough to not have to be deployed for battle. There is a difference between a veteran and a combat veteran. Much respect.

Iam thankful for people like Rob and so many others. I wasn't in a big job or a unit like Rob. I was with a National Guard unit from utah building roads and things like that. But iam thankfully for people keeping me safe while I was doing my military job.

Thanks Eric for doing this interview with Rob, he is a true Canadian Patriot, and we thank him for his service. Being an avid hunter, and long range shooter I have always looked up to our Canadian Snipers, and been very proud of their abilities, and records especially the 3450meter record set back in 2017. I have been an anal handloader for over 30 years now, and can come to appreciate all the hard work it takes to make a shot like that, plus the equipment that is required. Rob has a shooting school in Edmonton, Alberta and for shits and giggles one of the friends I load for and I are going to take his course. I’m sure we will learn a thing or too😉 Thanks again Eric for these GREAT podcasts, keep up the good work.

First off Thanks for your Service. It wasn't right for your unit to go through all that BS afterwards. The ones who cause this should be given a rifle and dropped into the frontlines of battle. This media thing really got its start in the Vietnam war. Watched it every night on the 6:00 news. Have many friends that have gone through the battlefield starting with my Farther in WWII. One will never know what it is like unless the go through it. Thanks very much for your time and giving us just a little taste of what it is like.

I have participated in a number of training events with the Rob Furlong Marksmanship Academy. Each and every time has been a great learning experience. As much as I appreciate sniper's ability, I'd imagine drones are over taking the sniper's job in the battle field now. No need to risk a soldier life climbing a mountain when you can fly a drone 25 miles and accomplish the same task.

Remember me Rob? I'm Richard Ethan Walker. After you made me turn around and you kneed or kicked me in the back and then beat my hands saying I had a weapon. I have one question. Why did you let the video be erased if you were the good guy you try to be. Also my challenge to you to a MMA fight is still on. If you aren't afraid to come at me face to face lets set it up.
