As this is the reason why: America equals 51 states which all have the same constitution and thus are formally one but who have the right and option to architect certain parts of law etc. It's formally and officially one.. so no matter in what state the 'invention is done' it's called an American invention. Europe is the same.. yet all it's states are individual countries. They're not officially and formally one like it is with the american states. Thus every country has it's own inventions

Way far behind, let me list some for you: 1. Climate friendly traffic emmissions... 2. Social security 3. Education, most of you dont know much about what happends outside of your borders. 4. History, you're only around for 400 years, so you can say you're the new kids on the block. 5. Financially, you're country has one of the highest debts (per capita) in the world. I don't say we're so awesome and all perfect. But for the usa bit more modest attitude wouldn't be wrong..

When it comes to the best athletes in the world I also dare to challenge that when I look at countries such as China (which was actually ranked above with the last olympics. The usa had a second place.) It just depends on which sports you monitor. When it comes to football (or "soccer" as you might call it) Im sure my country would do way better. And when it comes to baseball your country might probably do way better.

The same goes for inventing and applying science. The usa only exist for maybe 400 years (and even shorter in it's present form) so you're a young country and have a lot of new oppertunities. But americans so often forget that in continents like Europe we have such way longer history with inventions and so on and already invented stuff before the usa even existed. Try to put things a bit in perspective...

Many old civilazation had sewing systems, the Romans and Greek. Cars were not invented in the US but mass production of cars is (Ford). The first cars were useless and slow but they were made in Europe and China. Lights are an US invention. Television was invented in many steps, some took place in Europe nd some in the US. Pre microchip computers are old and not inveted in the US. Whitout Europe the US would be shit and reversed. And I thank the US for destroying the Nazi's and liberate europe
