Thank you. Yes I have had Poutine twice. Once at a place in Madison, Wisconsin and the other time in a small food place in the Underground City in Montreal. That was the best!

Yes, I would like to do that. I’ve had poutine twice in my life. Once was at the Great Dane brewpub in Madison and the other was at a place in the Underground City in Montreal Canada. 🇨🇦. I definitely liked the Montreal version better.

those curds look awesome, would love to see how they rate against Renard's in Sturgeon Bay's fresh Curds. Those are the best I have tried

I have never tried Renard’s. I’ll need to make sure I do a day trip up to Sturgeon Bay this summer and give them a try. I’m pretty sure there are a few cheese factories that pump out some incredible cheese curds around Wisconsin. I’m pretty lucky to live in this area.

Roger, that butter, pecan stout was a real treat. I had some two years ago and was looking forward to this release so I could replenish my supply. Hopefully by the time you get there, they will still have some. It was sort of a limited release thing.

What makes cheese curds “squeak”? Thx

I’m glad you asked… Cheese curds have a network of proteins. The proteins are called casein, and they're held together by calcium phosphate bonds. This springy network rebounds when you bite into a curd. That rebound creates vibrations that make the curds emit their signature squeak.

I am curious if you can eat cheese curds on a carnivore diet 🤔 I saw a video recently from a guy who claims to be on that diet that took a bite of steak with what appeared to be mashed potatoes on his fork!! Can you imagine? Anyway, a nice well edited video that doesn't blow out my ear buds when the theme song plays. 😊

To tell you the truth… I have absolutely no idea what a carnivore diet is. I thought I knew, but one guy I follow really seems to be expanding what fits under carnivore. The strange thing is, he has a relative that seems to be actually following a carnivore diet. So, can you eat cheese curds on the carnivore diet? I would say it depends who you talk to. I do know mashed potatoes are not part of any carnivore diet. Thank you for the compliment about my editing skills. I’m trying to get better.

No, I do not. Fortunately, I have full use of my legs. I do have to admit, that there are times when I’ve looked at those special electric shopping carts when I go to Costco and think man, those would be fun to ride up and down the isles. But, I never have.

I’m sorry to hear that. My guess is this KZbinr has partnered with an unreliable production and fulfillment company for his/her merchandise. Please be careful when dealing with people like this. There might be added charges to your “free” prize. Shipping, handling, taxes and extra credit card processing fees could be added. I wish you luck.

Hi Rob, glad you had a GUD day indeed! What do you think of beer in chilli? I know of a KZbinr who is always so insistent in pouring a can of beer in his crockpot chillies - it’s quite disgusting.

I actually do not care for beer in chili. I like beer in Beer, Cheese soup, but in chili it just seems like I always get the aftertaste of a warm beer. Not very appealing to me.

Yes I do…. My go to is Kinders SPG (The Blend). It goes great on a lot of things. One of my favorite ways of using it is on chickenhind quarters. Sprinkle both sides with Kinders and then put it in the air fryer till it’s done. It is delicious.
