When they got to the NFC championship game in 99, he lost to the “greatest show on turf”. The years after that, they lost to a great Eagles team who also couldn’t get over the hump. Shanahan has not faced a team who played at the level that the Kurt Warner Rams did… that pats loss was horrendous. The 49ers had better rosters than the Chiefs. And the 49ers had a better roster than the Rams as well.

Most teams are terribly run and firing the coach is the easy solution to nuanced situation. It will always be a combination of getting the right coach and the right players. What I got from this is that Rob doesn’t believe in any coaches. There are no great coaches according to him. Kyle is responsible for all of the great (non-Mahomes) offenses in the league. His teams are regularly dominant when healthy and LAST year he was in the SB in overtime against the chiefs. If he’s on the hot seat so should EVERY coach not named Andy Reid! @youdub7926 Trey didn't get a real chance and Kyle doesn't develop QB'S. So, it was a bad pick from the start. But Lance could have been a better QB, just somewhere else.
