I’ve been saying this for years. James harden is a “mega star” that was manufactured by NBA completely over-officiating the game for years. You defend harden? He’ll flop and the refs will reward him. So you have to give him open looks because the refs won’t let you defend him

I wouldn't say he was manufactured because he's clearly a talented player...but he definitely does NOT average 35 plus points a game if it wasn't for refs gifting him 8-10 free throws a game with his flopping and acting. So happy the NBA updated the rules cuz it was ridiculous.

@@Israel-nb7ip that’s exactly why he ALWAYS, disappears in the playoffs without exception. Refs don’t make the same calls in the postseason that they do in the regular season, and he would play that same BS garbage brand of basketball running out of control through the paint trying to drag his arms up through defenders and trying to flop his way to the FT line but he doesn’t get the same calls in the playoffs He doesn’t “disappear” in the playoffs. That’s just the level of production he gets you when the refs call a normal game

Thank you Rob Parker!!!! I’ve been saying this for years. James harden turns into Alex Rodriguez (former third baseman for the Yankees that always wet the bed in the postseason except for one postseason in 2009) when the postseason comes. Why don't anyone see James is winning in the nba? When people go to work some or most are dreading being at their job and getting paid pennies on the dollar. Not James 1) He's a millionaire doing whatever he wants to do in his life. 2) His family is set for their life so they won't have to work at dead end jobs to make a buck 3) He will be inducted into the hall of fame when he's done and 4) He could careless what any of us is saying about him or his game because he's still in the nba. Those are just a few points about james talk about something that makes an impact in the BLACK community because that's more useful. Oh.. Did I mentioned james is going to still make millions playing basketball? I think his dream has came true and winning.

Did he just say harden has played with a PLETHORA OF GREAT PLAYERS And try to use it to discredit him?? CP3-HURT(in playoffs) RUSSELL-Un Bearable KD- HURT(hurt every Week) KYRIE- HURT(physically and mentally unstable) STOP IT
@migsaabe8339
@migsaabe8339 2 жыл бұрын
And he did not say that aside from CP3 hurt, Houston is playing against KD, Curry, Klay, Draymond and Iggy! James in all these playoffs that they are saying he disappears averaged more than 25 pts per game! And ofcourse Harden's number has a tendency to go down during playoff because the opposing team is planning all their defense just to stop Harden. They double team him starting in the backcourt. He is not like Giannis who is 7ft that he can just dunk the ball if we wants to score! So stop saying that James disappears during playoff like he is the only superstar who has a bad playoff game. I think the only superstar who did not have a single bad playoff game is Jordan and he is the goat. Even Lebron and Steph had bad play-off games! I just think these guys are too hard on James but if they are in James' situation, I think they will do the same thing. Let us set things straight...Harden went to Brooklyn to win a ring and with the thought that he will be playing with Kyrie and KD but what happened? The 3 played only 16 games during his stint at Brooklyn. He probably did not see the sense of urgency from Kyrie and KD and the Brooklyn management and for him he sees that his window to win a ring is going very small and that made him to decide that Brooklyn, with the current situation, will not give him the results he wants now. We all know that Kyrie and KD already have their rings and probably he did not see the urgency to win a ring from these 2 guys now...You see.1) .if Kyrie wants to win a ring then he should have taken the vaccine to play every game instead of playing only away games..That is not a sign of urgency as this is disrupting the teams rotation and chemistry. 2) If KD has a sense of urgency to win then he should have aggressively talked to Kyrie and convince him hard that they need Kyrie to play every game..but maybe Harden did not see it from KD..3) If the management on the otherhand have a sense of urgency to win a championship then management could have done 2 things...a) just stick with the plan to not let Kyrie play to not disrupt rotation/chemistry and b) Brooklyn management should have just let Kyrie play home games and just pay the fines!!! That solves it all...But management did not do it...this told Harden that there was no sense of urgency from Management to win a championship....In the meantime while this is happening... James felt that he is all alone in the desire to win a championship now! So can you blame Harden for deciding to leave Brooklyn? Clearly this is NOT what he signed up for. If Kyrie is playing and has full time commitment to play 100% of the time and KD will be coming back from injury, do you think James would still want to leave Brooklyn??? I don't think so because he know he has a better chance to win a championship with Kyrie and KD than with just Embiid but again, he did not see the sense of urgency from Kyrie and KD simply because the 2 already has their rings.. With this situation at Brooklyn, he sees that in Philly, there is a person who is in the same situation as with him in terms of wanting to win a ring now in the person of Joel Embiid and is having an MVP season and that made him decide to go to Philly because atleast he knows that Embiid has a sense of urgency too since Embiid has yet to win a ring too.. Perk is right...He admires Harden because the only reason why we wants to leave a team is because Harden wants to win!!! Is is a bad thing? He is not doing it anymore for the money but he is doing it for his legacy because in reality, an NBA great player is judged not on his game but on how many rings he has.. Harden has left so many millions of dollars in the table just to have a better chance to win a championship and isn't that admirable??? Rob and Chris are hating on Harden for the way he left Houston but did you take into consideration why Harden left Houston? James gave everything he had for the city of Houston...He made the Rockets relevant again and if there was no KD,Steph,Clay,Draymong/Iggy in Golden state then Houston could have won a championship with Harden. Also, it is known that when Mike D'Antoni left Houston, Harden like Ty Lue to be the next coach of Houston but management did not consult him and chose Paul Silas. If it were Lebron and he was not consulted on who the coach will be, how do you think Lebron would react??? Houston also let go of Daryl Morey who Harden as a very close relationship so he felt all alone in Houston. Harden gave all that he has while he was in a Rockets uniform but there is always a time that a player realizes that he has reached his limit with the team and time to move on. Don't you think Harden has the right to move on from Houston? Yes, there is a problem on how he forced his way out of Houston but if he did not do that, do you think Houston will make a move to trade him that season? Just saying.. So these two Rob and Chris, I think are too unfair on their comments about Harden. If there is anything I can say is that it is Rob and Chris that are FRAUD! You are not true analyst of the game for a good analyst considers everything that led to a players action and not just throw shades at players because you do not know what goes on in every players mind when they do what they chose to do.

Lets just be a 100 % honest. Harden is just not that good. He never was. He is a Westbrook type of star. A superstar of stats but not of impact. Not of the actual game. Everybody could have had his stats shooting as much as he did and as much free throws as he did in that D'Antoni system that made Jeremy Lin look like an Mvp candidate for a while. Look at his game. He is a limited player. Just not as good as everyone thought. Its Ok. Its not meant for everybody. You can't win a title with him His biggest playoff runs - 2012 finals with OKC Warmed the Bench and choked. They got rid of him cause he wadn't good enough 2015 West Finals - Dwight Howard was much better in playoffs than Harden and carried them. Houstom came back from 3-1 vs Clippers while Harden sat in the bench. Harden Choked 2018 West Finals - Chris Paul was leading the way and was the best player in the playoffs vs Warriors. Harden Choked His game is just not good enough. He is a bad 3pt shooter except for his stepback. Limited shooting versatility. Not many scoring moves. No mid range. A below the rim player. Inefficient, can't defend and a turnover machine. Selfish and needs the ball all the time. Lile Wetsbrook. He is like Westbrook. The total stats just got people fooled. Thats just a volume of shots and insane usage rate. Now he is better than russ but no way he is top 20 right now He ALWAYS CHOKES in playoffs. Way way way more often than Paul George Pg13 got a 50% choking rate Harden got a 90%

Made me think, if all our surrounding talent can't do anything with defenses like Boston and bucks and Phoenix James harden isn't gonna fix that. We gave up Seth Curry our best shooter and Drummond our best backup center for a defense liability and ball hog in harden. He's a great play maker but that doesn't do anything for a ball dominant guard whose chucking barely 40% from the fg and less then 35% from 3. Nets won this trade. The're all asking if he's the franchise quarterback of the future. A week later, the same quarterback can have a bad game and they're asking if he should be benched. "Can he lead a team when it matters?" In the world of entertainment, content is king so I always enjoy the debates. I just wish our political pundits would flip flop on politicians like this and not the actual issues based on who has a (D) and (R) in front of their names.
