McDaniels screwed us getting Jimmy but letting go of Carr had to do with salary issues too especially with Adams contract. A lot of people think we can just go and get any QB we want not thinking about salary and our future draft picks. We’ve lost so many 1st round picks due to whatever reasons and we’ve had crappy D the entire time with Carr. Now we’re building up our D, using draft picks wisely so we just need to run with Gardner who was a pro bowler last year. I know how he made it to the pro bowl but that means he was runner up out of all the other QBs that didn’t make it. It’s a rebuilding state due to all the mishaps from previous coaches and GMs mistakes but I actually see that we are on the right path for a great future. As for keeping Adams or not, honestly I love Adams, he’s the best WR in the league next to JJ. With the talent we have this year, I want to keep him and see what happens. Our division is weak, besides the Chiefs, so I think we have a good shot since we seem to give the Chiefs a hard time each year. We would free up a lot of cap if we get rid of him but we better get some young talent and some draft picks or it doesn’t seem worth it.

Y'all need to pay attention. Yes Davante was frustrated after Carr left and Jimmy G was throwing mostly interceptions or hospital passes. But After McDaniels got fired and Jimmy G was benched for AOC things changed. If you listen to what he's said in several interviews more recently he is more optimistic about the future of the Raiders. AP changed the culture instantly and even though AOC had a rough start after being thrown into a bad situation, he showed some sparks. I don't know whether AOC will be the franchise QB but I do think he will have a much better year this season, and Davante seems to agree. If the new offense under Luke Getsy with AOC or Minshew doesn't look good by the trade deadline this season, they may look into trading Davante, but I doubt anything will happen before that. And as for Dak for 60 mil??? No thanks!

Diehard Raider fan since the early 90s, and I agree we won't be diddle pooing the wise words of Mr Mora. We have the worst quarterback situation in the entire afc and bottom 4th in the league wasting time on limited talent quarterback. The rest of the league is going with 1st round or first pick in the second round quarterbacks with elite skill sets. A mobile quarterback with an elite arm is the new nfl to spread the field and putting up points on the board. We want to rely on defense when they just made tackling illegal , and a run game that will be stagnant if the qb cant complete the ball in tight windows to beat man coverage, double teams or box 1 coverage on davante. Uncle Rico aka minshew is 15-22 in his career, and Aoc didn't complete a pass for 3 qtrs against kc last year or didn't score a point in a 3-0 lost to the vikings. Having a team but no quarterback is definitely not the answer 49ers had a better team than the chiefs but when the game was on the line Purdy didn't make the plays the Magic Man in KC made. We're scared to give up draft capital to go get an elite quarterback because we are still haunted by the ghost of the lean man himself, JaMarcus Russell. We are wishing and selling hope like a street preacher that a 6th round journey man and 4th round unathletic avg arm qb turn into the next tb12. Until we invest in a elite franchise quarterback and surround him with talent instead of letting Cj Stroud pass through our hands for Ped Jimmy G or Not giving up the picks for Jayden Daniel's when the stars align , we are committed to mediocrity not excellence. I would have traded/signed a Baker Mayfield, Dak Prescott, that backup quarterback in Cincinnati that played for Washington(college) or made a bold trade for Kyler Murray.
