I'm convinced Kobe would have played 2-3 more years if he didn't tear his achilles , just an impossible injury to overcome in the later stages of a career. But Brady finished 2nd in mvp voting and had a record breaking season , so I knew he was coming back didn't expect it to be so soon , but the NFL is better with Brady in the narrative. Tampa Bay also scored 3.5 points per game more than Green Bay(4 more if you don't count defensive tds), had more tds(rushing and passing individually and collectively), better red zone efficiency, better 3rd down conversion %, more first downs, more plays, and more yards per play.
