Robbie grew up in the town next to me, he was a few years older, my whole crew looked at him like he was Michael Jordan. When we were hanging out and skating local spots like Sports and Stuff, Eatontown, and New Brunswick, Robbie was already pretty big and skating LOVE, The Banks, and all over. But every now and then there would be a Robbie sighting and it was a HUGE deal. He was always cool, polite, and friendly. Robbie you were a great local hero in East Brunswick. We always routed for you and are proud to be from the same place. Thanks.

As a fan, I think it's a shame he doesn't skate anymore but I can understand where he's coming from. I don't mind the length. Make 'em longer! :) I could watch all day. Also, that Fred Gall board looks so good!
@JanoyCresva7 жыл бұрын
At least his is by choice with a family and all. A true shame is Ali Boulala not even being able to kickflip. That was sad to see.

North Dakota Hoss. Why bring up Ali? It's not a competition is it? Because we all know Shane Cross wins the " shame he can't skate anymore" contest.

I grew up on Photosynthesis. That Alien Matchstick deck was my all time favorite board. Workshop was KILLING it back then. Perfect sized nose and tail and on point pop and concave.

Sad about Seek honestly. Flo Marfaing is probably the best thing to ever come out of Germany and that could have been his well-deserved break. Flo was on a whole other level back then. Top tier skater. Only few could touch his skill. And he still shreds, by the way. Much love for Flo Marfaing.

Really big respect for Rob, definitelly a great guy, but it makes me a bit sad how he kinda tries to "remove" skateboarding from his life, as he said "put it over there" ... feels like he had a huge disappointment with his career falling down that skateboarding became kind of a trauma, at least thats what i feel while listening to him, feels bad that he wants to keep it apart, much love for Rob anyways.
