Rob, I saw you (Matchbox) at the Electric factory in Philly first, then again for Mad Season, again for Rob Thomas at Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL when you made me smile playing a toy piano and toy drum set! I won tickets to see you at a private concert I won off the radio in Ft. Lauderdale, but I had a court date to attend on behalf of myself and my friend who who was injured much more than I when a man ran a red light, hit my truck and left the scene. My girlfriend ended up in the small extended cab of my truck. I went to court that day and the man who hit and ran never showed up and a bench warrant was issued. I missed your concert that day. I heard on the radio you drove up in a regular sedan. I still hadn't replaced my totalled truck. I thought that was so cool and down to Earth. I have since moved back to Delawarw, but I've been as far as upstate New York once to see you perform and a few times in Camden, NJ. I have a great video of the whole ferry, going across the river back to Philly, getting up and dancing to yours and Matchbox's songs after the concert. Always the Same is my mother's and my song, our song, it kept us close when I was so far from her when I was going to University of Miami and enduring the physical and mental trials with out her after the accident. Thank you. I shared this video with my mother, who hasn't had the pleasure to see you live, but has watched the concerts. She wanted me to thank you, the response from her to my share was, "Thank you Chrystal. Helps me feel less alone somehow. Hearts are being heard and more of us are listening, together.

I've always liked your songs, Rob. If anyone thinks there are no worries to worry about, just remember that it happened before when the Native American Indian's world/way-of-life came to an end. It wasn't pretty. But, Democracy is easy to hijack. All you have to do is limit the ballot to the choice of "Heads, I win, Tails you lose". Being able to get the right things on the ballot is more important that what is voted for/against.
