They recently Celebrated being together for 30 years, and next Year will see their 20th Wedding Anniversary! "Dragula" hit a major Demographic by being used as "House Band Music" in "the Matrix"!

Oh and DRAGULA is a reference to the car GRAMPA drove in the show “ The Munsters”. He had it in his license plate!! lol just in case no one put that in here.

Grampa drove the Coffin Dragster, in the music video. But Dragula was driven by Herman. He wasn't able to buy Dragula until after this video.

Rob is obviously a fan of old cheesy horror movies, and the Dragula was taken from the 1960’s TV show The Munsters… something I didn’t know for a long time. This song and a few others of his were featured in the old Twisted Metal games on the PlayStation 2, with the Dragula being an actual drivable car in Twisted Metal 4.

DRAG-U-LA was one of the cars in the tv show The Munsters (which Rob made a movie of in 2022). Also, you mentioned how Halloween is probably his season; he directed 2 Halloween movies. He has directed other movies as well (a trilogy: House of a 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects/3 From Hell, 31, Lords of Salem). Before he went solo as Rob Zombie, he also fronted a band called White Zombie (taking their name from the 1932 horror movie of the same name).

Well, I mean...Rob Zombie IS a 'niche' performer... lol The car in this MV is the actual car from the Original Television Series, The Munsters. Rob LOVES that show so much that he bought the rights to it and has been trying to resurrect it. He's CRAZY in one of the most awesome ways ever! Love that guy! Even if you don't like the music or the MV, this guy is great! I hope you look up things about him. He's actually really cool. This particular song also made it to the soundtrack to the amazing movie from 1999 called 'The Matrix'.

Killer track my dear, I love Rob Zombie in limited doses. I like his energy but I don't dig industrial or rap metal, just too harsh a landscape to navigate but classic metal like Black Sabbath is not only very listenable to modern reactors but it is also amongst the best rock ever made, much of their stuff is high art in the sound they keep coming up with, just an amazing band and way more than just Ozzy Osborne's distinctive vocals (or Ronnie James Dio and others later on). Try the Wizard from their first album as an user friendly intro track, you will not regret it. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Werewolf Women of the SS never got made into a full length feature film due to Dimension Films owning the rights to fake trailer we see in the Grindhouse movie. Rob has said they will probably never give him permission to do the movie.

Fun Fact: Zombie wasn't able to get the actual Dragula Dragster from the show until after this video was shot. That's actually the Coffin Racer from the Munsters show that Grandpa Munster drove. Herman drove Dragula. The Dragula car is now Zombies though. Can't remember if he has it home or lent it to a museum. But it's rightfully owned by him now. I love Zombie🤘🏼🤌🏼🔥
