Well done, great vlog 👏👍

This year, the city of Gdansk is entered in the competition for the best Christmas market in the EU. Last time he finished second . Sometime from Krakow you should take a train or bus to Zakopane. In Bukowina Tayrzańska you have pools with hot water from the ground. If you want a cheaper place and with healing mineral waters I suggest Szczawnica, Muszyna (you can buy Muszynianka mineral water in the UK in a Polish shop), Krynica

@@RobandLynnontour Near Krakow, in Wieliczka, there is a historic salt mine from the 13th century to visit. It is probably the longest continuously operating workplace. Although it has not been extracting salt since the 1970s, it operates as a museum on the UNESCO list.

KRAKÓW in Polish. You pronounce the letter ‘K’ correctly. It sounds similar to the letter ‘c’ in the words ‘crack’ or ‘cook’. The letter ‘R’ is the same in English and Polish The letter ‘A’ is pronounced like the letter ‘u’ in the English word ‘umbrella’ and you pronounce it correctly. The letter ‘ó’ is like 2 letters ‘o’ [u:] in words ‘cook’ or ‘loop’. The letter ‘W’ is pronounced like the letter ‘v’ in English e.g. in words ‘very’ or ‘valid’. ------------------ At the Hall Cloth they sell real amber, but if you would like to be sure that you are buying jewellery with amber then come to Gdansk. There you will find one of the most beautiful streets in Europe, where they only sell amber and amber jewellery. ------------------ I am very pleased that you enjoyed Krakow. We have many wonderful places in Poland. It is best to come to us in summer unless someone doesn't mind rain or a bit of earthy weather in early spring or autumn. In winter, you can come to our mountains for skiing, e.g. to Zakopane (if you are not a professional, otherwise go to the Alps; our mountains are not that high, although you can also find tracks for advanced skiers here or in our Slovakian neighbours), and then go to one of the places with hot thermal water to warm up. Of course, the mountains are a good place for hiking in summertime. Kraków is not only Auschwitz and Kazimierz but many other places and attractions: go and visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, walk along the Vistula River, go to one of the mounds to see the view of Kakowa (e.g. the Kościuszko Mound), go to the Jazz Club to listen to music or to one of many cafes for coffee or tea and a delicious Polish cake or doughnuts, drop into one of the many bars for a drink (in the hotel prices for drinks are really out of space), walk around Krakow and visit churches to see their interiors, On the first floor of the Cloth Hall, there is the 19th century Polish Art Gallery and the Szał café, which offers one of the best views of the Market Square from its terrace, go to the Zakrzówek reservoir or to Nowa Huta - a district specially built by the communists and you can see what socialist-realist architecture looked like there, go to see the Benedictine Monastery in Tyniec or buy a trip to e.g. Zakopane to see the Polish mountains. In Krakow alone, there are more than 50 different museums. You can go to Ojcowski Park Narodowy, Dolinki Krakowskie, Lanckorona and Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Niepołomice and Tarnów. ------------------ Poland has many beautiful places and cities, towns and villages. You can add other Polish cities to your list too, as they are all beautiful. I suggest seeing Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia (our tri-city), Zakopane (the capital of the Polish mountains), Wrocław, Poznań, Lublin, Łodź, Rzeszów, Kielce, Toruń (this town was not destroyed during the 2WW and is the birthplace of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and is known for gingerbread), Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Białystok, Bielsko-Biała (small polish Vienna), Szczecin, Przemyśl, Zamość, Zielona Góa, Jelenia Góra, Świdnica, Kazimierz Dolny nad Wisłą, Olsztyn (the capital of our Lake district), Przemyśl, Sanok, Łańcut, Sandomierz, Leżajsk, Stary Sącz, Kłodzko, Międzygórze w Sudetach (called a small Switzerland in Poland in Sudets), Szklarska Poręba etc. We also have many beautiful natural areas: the Słowiński National Park with moving dunes in Łeba, the Białowieża National Park with European bisons, and the Bieszczady Mountains. ------------------ I invite you to view a small advertisement for Poland: A beautiful short film about Poland - Poland in a nutshell - places you can find in Poland and you don't have to go to other countries: kzbin.infohv8slix2Izc

The Poles were just as brutal and murderous to the Jews, although they had been there for well over a thousand years they were not considered Polish. They contributed in all areas of polish culture, they fought in war's.. I could go on. Poland had the largest population of Jew's in Europe and a great majority today, worldwide have links back to Poland. It has to be said, many Poles helped the Jews during WW2, but a large majority did not. The racial hatred they endured throughout the centuries was horrific.
@Polans-gd3 күн бұрын
What nonsense are you!!!! The Germans sold such atrocities so effectively that some Jews think it was the Poles who killed them, not the Germans. Who saved the most Jews during World War II, even though helping was punishable by death for the person who helped them and their entire family? The Poles !!!!!! Who was also imprisoned in the German extermination camps besides Jews? The Poles !!!!! I can't stand people like you who are ignorant and spread lies. One more thing: Jews were different, just like Poles were different, but it is true that many Jews did not want to assimilate and often cheated Poles, e.g. when doing business or selling something. The basic rule of an emigrant who is looking for his place in another country and culture: If you are a guest in a country, you learn its language, obey local laws and customs, and assimilate. If instead you do everything the other way around and cheat local people and don't respect them, then local people won't respect you. And it seems that many Jews had this attitude. There were also Jews who were loved with open hearts and minds and, as Poles, we owed them a lot because they assimilated and felt like Poles. They were one of us. They were and felt Poles too and they did not behave as if every Pole they met on the street was their enemy. Those who didn't like Poles talk nonsense like you and spread lies and hatred against them. Look in the mirror !!
@RobandLynnontour3 күн бұрын
Hi it’s absolutely shocking what went on there those poor people suffered so much it’s heartbreaking 💔 we look forward to revisiting Poland 🇵🇱 👍
@polishguy2619 сағат бұрын
To claim that Poles were just as brutal and murderous (as the Nazi I guess as someone did not say) is not only deeply offensive but also demonstrates a total lack of knowledge and, quite possibly, prejudice and xenophobia towards Poles. Poles were among the most active in helping Jews during Holocaust, despite the risks. Unlike in many other countries, where aiding Jews might result in fines, in occupied Poland the punishment for helping Jews was death, not just for the individual but also for their entire family. Yet, Poles constitute the largest group honoured at Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations, recognising those who risked their lives to help Jews. While anti-Semitism existed in Poland before the war, it was no worse than in other countries and cannot be compared to the atrocities committed by the Germans. Comments like the above, however, are completely unacceptable and just vile. This person lacks basic historical knowledge and spreads distortion which is inexcusable.
