Well Mr. Hugh, that is so sad to hear. It must have broke your heart to see your life long friend be part of this. I admire you for not wanting to get revenge on him. (Forgive those who trust pass against us.)I think though you should let the police know. If he is allow to go Scott free on this incident, he will do it again and someone else will suffer. Your friend might not be so lucky the next time. He might get kill by an over protective victim. I can see you forgiving him when or if he comes back and begs for forgiveness. The algorithm introduced me to you, your friends and family, through this month old video, today. I enjoyed some time "being" there, although stuck jn NY... Your way of life is that which I seek, just wish it didn't take so long for me to realize it. But the scumbags at the end are what keep me unwilling to trust others with any sort of responsibility or personal involvement, lest it become their next "art of deception" target - as it becomes, more often than not. Have nice things in 2024? Better hang with people who have the same, or more, than you... Because you cannot trust words alone. I was raised to not "judge" others, yet to also "trust my gut". I feel God gave people a gift to judge others based on our senses and our own morals, ethics and values. So yes, I do judge others based on their words, actions, priorities, etc. If they don't align, I don't bother. If their energy and passions are aligned, I can overlook a lot, but ohhhh how far and few that is. Far from a burgeoning manner to foster meaningful friendships, let alone relationships, leading to the realization that thanks to fake politics, and fake media - which so EASILY divided people, who dare not to just unplug the damm thing - it's been intentionally made that way. If you have, and others want, they now feel the risk is worth the "reward" to do what they see fit to make it their own. These types seem more frequent in some areas, as opposed to others, I have yet to figure that out. I'm sorry that your dealt with that, and that you press charges. It's the only way to wake them, and possibly save them in this world and others

That really sucks, I am sorry to hear about that. Probably have some sort of habit or whatever to fuel. It hurts even worse when its a close family member that pulls this kind of stuff. And of course there is really not a lot that can be done. I have reported things stolen, knew exactly where my stuff was, and the sheriff couldn't do anything. This is how a lot of good people get soured to the world and end up sitting on the porch with a shotgun, don't let this world sour you. God Bless.

SORRY for someone you really thought was a friend treated you, your family, your property, and those animals so disrespectfully. The disappointment and feelings of being hurt are hard to get over and not let it turn into anger that overwhelms you turning into hate. I commend you on telling everyone the truth, doing it in a nonhateful way because in today's world people take things and turn it into hate. Hate does not do anything good for themselves or anyone else, just allows the devil to enjoy watching, spread chaos. I commend you for giving your friend a chance, for trying to give him an direction to better himself. There is more fault on the lady, which we know there are some nasty evil women and the men that fall for them, follow the leader. However, this isn't a teenager, this is a man who makes his own decisions, knows right from wrong and his choice was to be wrong to stay with a bad person, so he is just as responsible for allowing this all to happen. I hoped that they do not have children together, if they do he cannot be a good dad if he is showing his kids to be bad people. Have to teach them to respect others, respect your friends, taking thing that are not yours is a crime is bad, leaving animals to suffer to go get run find the next person to rob, scam is horrible because there is not respect or care for even their own animals. Glad that the Lord had you guys come home a few days early, things might have been a lot worse. The Lord allows moments to happen for reasons and the reason for the rodeo not going so well, was for you to get home to care for the ranch animals dogs and stop them from coming back to steal more from you. Forgiving in your mind and heart doesn't mean you forget or that you will have the same feelings, or trust ever again. It means that you are not allowing their bad actions and decisions control your life in a negative way. Positive thoughts and Prayers that the New Ranch Hand will be a Great Hand! Be Safe!
