I saw Robbie open for David Bromberg and I was hooked!! Love his wonderful songwriting, playing, and his fun sense of humor. Slowly adding his records to my collection 😊

For twelve years, I've hosted a historical Country Music show on 91.3 FM CJTR in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I couldn't describe to anybody any clearer the intent or inspiration for why I do my show any better than through this wonderful song by Robbie Fulks. Thanks Robbie.

If I remember correctly, the other half of this episode was Junior Brown. I randomly happened upon it back in 97 or 98, and me and my dad loved it... but my mom HATED it. That's how I knew it was good!

I saw him perform Barely Human on that episode, and thought, "Whoa. THAT'S dark. Wow." I've been a huge fan ever since.

Saw him in Pittsburgh 1998. Briiliant singer songwriter. He pays tribute to Don Rich , deservedly so as he made Buck Owen's signature songs come alive.

This was my first experience of Robbie and Junior Brown - an episode of Austin City Limits. Anybody have the rest of the set? I fell in love with both acts in the one evening.

Thank you so, so much! Somewhere I have his entire ACL set on VHS, but have not looked at it in years. I was a fan from the first song.

I first heard Robbie on NH public radio and he did "Forgotten But Not Gone" and "I can't win for losing you" (look for this in the movie "dead simple" with Daniel Stern and James caan) Been a fan ever since. I've seen him 2x in the Boston area once with a band at TT's and recently solo at Club Passim, both great, fun shows.

Wow!!! Robbie...How Sweet!!! Song, playing and singing all take the cake!!! @ Don Rich I say "if there are sweethearts in Heaven, then I want you for mine." (Buck & Rose Maddox) Read about my "Name Our Band" contest on FB! I want to cover your song please!!! (I am a friend of Laurie Lewis who most likely just won my little contest with "The Buck Starts Here" and "a deep bow to Robbie Fulks!") I had thought of it a couple of days ago but am not eligible ;) Thanx for this ingenius song!
