She's The One (Official Music Video)
'She's The One' was issued in November 1999 as the fourth single from Robbie's second album 'I've Been Expecting You', and was a Double A-Side release with 'It's Only Us'. It entered the UK Chart at No. 1, giving Robbie his second chart-topping single.
The promo video was directed by dom&nic aka award-winning duo Dominic Hawley and Nick Goffey (brother of Supergrass's Danny Goffey), who had previously worked with The Chemical Brothers, David Bowie and Oasis. It featured Robbie alongside ice skating duo Pamela O'Connor and Jonathan O'Dougherty, gold medal-winners at British Figure Skating Championships in 2003.
'She's The One' was written by Karl Wallinger of World Party, and originally recorded for that band's 1997 album 'Egyptology', which featured drummer Chris Sharrock, who also appears on Robbie's version.

I just want to give this video some props for its artistic merit, yes, that's a bit of a play upon ice skating score methods, but that's besides the point... lol... I find there to be nothing more beautiful, poetic and emotive than that of a man and woman in flow, together... like this... gliding on the ice... to music.... they could be dancing a well choreographed piece on a stage and the effect would be the same.... but there is just something holy about it. what does holy mean? complete! opposites in union! two as one! Separate but together. I know I am both separate from everything but together with everything.... but the feeling, no illusion of separation is so heavy that the reality togetherness pales. I am alone, and see beauty in this togetherness... A beauty I wish for myself yet have and don't have... we are each both yin and yang, yet each of us identifies as only one or the other and seek the other. So stressful is existence without the other.... with 'the other'.... 'existence' becomes 'life'... and there is the difference. God is not life by itself, god is just awareness by itself, and awareness by itself is bored and boring. and so, from the the non dual world sprang the dual world.

Edit: previous post doesn't make 100% sense, I've had a drink and can't really make my thought and expression coherent for you. sorry....what I'm saying, I think, is that there are many ways for the dual nature of the universe to merge into one, the non-dual perfection and for the non-dual to express itself in duality. dance, ice dance, friendship, man and wife... I can understand it and accept it with love... yet I cannot experience it. What is my life? They say it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all... but my answer is both yes and no to that. life: it is what it is, and god experiences it through each of us. each and every one of us is god. if YOU choose to bring a child into this world, be aware that that child is not yours. you do not own thjat child. that child may be a product of you and another, but that child is god, and should be cherished like you know it is god, just as you should have been loved and cherished when you were a child because you were, and are, god.

Actually I love the story of the video: the jealous older guy takes advantage of the innocence of the kids and through his meanness and manipulation he becomes the protagonist of the show when his role was to be their guide and protector. Poor boy only starts to understand what's happening when it's too late and he sees the old man taking all the glory in his place. I really like that Robbie took on the negative role of the corrupt coach.

Not what is happening. He didn't skate himself, cause as a child he got humiliated. If you notice, he include the other at the end, and smile and laugh the same way, as when they won. This is a beautiful video.

because modern technology have ruined a lot. simplicity is the key to success and as nowadays we have access to so many things that it ruins our mindsets. not only this is a problem but the fact we became really focused on working chord line's but forget the true love of experessing things we loved to do. a great example is Justin Timberlake - Can't stop the feeling. this is exactly what i mean with focused on working chord line's that already have been used. besides that we still have tons of artists that refuse to use the internet to show off their music because they simply want to share it with the people that take effort to find those kinds of artists :)
