I am so thankful for you and Gary! I’ve been gardening for 50 years, in-ground and in raised beds. I’ve always loved it and got so much enjoyment out of it, not to mention the food and health benefits. I knew my kids were getting the best organic vegetables and I taught all of them to garden and started teaching my grandkids how to garden. Then 8 years ago, I started battling cancer…then Covid and supply chain issues…then prices skyrocketing… The gardening that I loved so much became difficult and expensive! It felt like everything was a challenge. But, along with Covid came the time to sit and watch videos and I discovered your channel. I learned so many way to work around all of those things that made gardening a challenge. I don’t always comment on your videos because I’m either exhausted or not feeling well because of the cancer, but I want both of you to know how thankful I am to have found you and how thankful I am that you’re willing to share your expertise, ideas, and experiences with all of us. I certainly understand if you need to cut back on videos or need to take some time off. Everyone needs to take time off. Just know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️

Your KZbin channel is YOUR ship & YOU are the captain. If people don't like what, when or how you do your videos - they can get off your ship & WALK. I would rather watch you once a week, once a month or whenever it is convenient for you, than to lose you & Gary all together. You get HIGH praise from me because I don't know how you do it. I can barely manage my daily household chores & small garden. I can't even imagine trying to shoot & edit videos too. And to all the people out there that post only negative - instead of constructive comments - go watch someone else's channel OR start your own channel so you will learn what it is like to be treated unfairly.🤠❤👍

I'm 70 years old and I love your channel! You and Gary are so likeable, relatable and down to earth! I've picked up and implemented so many of your tips. As a result, my life is more interesting and fulfilling! I should add, that I also have less pain and inflammation, since I gave up gluten! Yesterday, I bought some solar fountains, on sale, after watching your video! Yay! Electricity is just too expensive and I refuse to hook up my electric pump anymore. Thanks for all that you do! ♥

Hi Robbie... I found you few years ago... and since then I follow you regularly. There are hundreds of very good gardening channels, many professional, many homesteaders, many average housewife etc. BUT...THERE IS NOT ONE...NOT ONE WHO HAS YOUR ENTHUSIASTIC VOICE, SMILING FACE, DOWN TO EARTH GOODNESS OUT THERE.. I WATCH YOU MANY TIME JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT... BECAUSE YOU ARE SO FULL OF POSITIVE ENERGY, AND WONDERFUL SIMPLE ADVICE.. NO... THERE IS NOT ONE MORE ROBBIE OUT THERE....THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORK AND ADVICE THROUGH THE YEARS... I HOPE I CAN WATCH YOU FOR MANY MORE YEARS... LOVE FROM TX.

Agree. Robbie and Gary are like neighbors sharing what they are doing with gardening. No gimmicks or fancy stuff. Just natural! Because of Robbie I have started to repurpose a lot of things that I usually threw them away. Now my problem is I have kept too much recyclable/reusable stuff. Got to learn to be somewhat minimalistic😆

You are real people, sharing your real life with us, in the hopes that we will take some inspiration to get out into our gardens and to "eat what we grow"! These other channels have scripts, lighting, design and all kinds of work behind the scenes to make us forget that we are "watching a show" - you guys are different because you, legitimately, are the show. Thank you for sharing your life with us (good and bad) and for all the inspiration (and a big dose of common sense!).

I am thankful you are not planning on stopping youtube. You are diverse in the things you share. I enjoy that, and I enjoy your friendly and informative way of explaining things. I truly understand why you may not post daily. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't want you to "burn out" or become stressed. I look forward to watching your videos. It helps not only to learn things, but for me, it also helps relieve some stress. The last few weeks in Northeast Missouri with the extreme cold have taken a toll on my physical health (heart), but also mental. I can't begin to thank you enough for the videos you posted during that time. They helped me to "escape" from it all for a moment. I appreciate you both. God bless you and yours.

I dug up most of my front yard a couple of years ago and decided to grow just about everything myself from seed. The neighbors were so vicious and insulting about it. Year 2, they're telling me how beautiful it is. I kept telling them this is a year two Garden. I could have spent a fortune at big box stores and had it beautiful. I have every kind of bee and insect imaginable, and the Hummers showed up.

Hi Robbie and Gary! I too am so thankful I came across your videos last summer when I did....when I was struggling with stress and anxiety on and off. Your videos reminded me again of the reasons that I have always loved to be outside with nature and work in the garden. Gardening has always been an outlet and a joy for me. When I was going through radiation treatments for breast cancer 15 years ago (thankfully I did not require chemo), I called being out in the garden and puttering in the flower beds my other therapy. It's what got me through. Then last fall, I had some other health issues come up, but seeing your videos has renewed a passion in me and again being in the garden and puttering with my plants has helped me through. Your videos with all the wonderful ideas and how to's are what so many of us need to help spark new ideas and figure out how to work with what we have. That's what it's all about...using the space we have and creating our own little bit of "Eden"....our own sanctuary that gives us a sense of peace....being with nature does that. It's like you say...we all can garden and grow a little something and in turn we are much better for it....physically and mentally. And if something doesn't work out, don't give up.....keep trying till you find what works for you and your area. So, again, thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to putting out your very informative and fun videos....and we all understand when you need a break....we all need a break sometimes. But you know what? Even when you just put the camera up for us to see the hummers, or watching you in the kitchen at midnight, we still get a kick out of it and it lifts our spirits. Love you both! 💕

You have given so many people joy and we thank you for that. I hope you don't leave because you are a little breath of CA that I miss since we moved to Texas. Also some folks only know negative aspects of CA and will not understand just how beautiful it is in CA. I have never had as nice of a garden as I had in central CA. It is so hot and dry here that gardening is more like sacrificing little plants to the sun. Any hoot- be you and we will be happy with what you share. Thank you for all that you do and remember don't let the dudds get you down. Love from Texas, but my heart is still in Lemoore CA.

I just want to thank you for all your work. You started me growing in containers with all the “trash” I pick up around the yard. Leaves small twigs, kitchen scraps etc. My plants are out growing everyone’s else. Being in my late 70’s the containers on chairs are the way to go for me. I do have a lot of pressure from wild animals including bear, deer, raccoons. The tulle works a little but I also have to put plastic forks sticking up to keep diggers out. Human urine works with bear and deer. I use the compost tea and it works great. I have shared your channel with others. Some of my friends are gluten free and they loved your cookies. My hummingbirds must be stupid because I have had the fountains up for 3 months and they don’t use it. Other birds do. I did put up 3 hummingbird feeders. That stopped a lot of fighting. I was up to 2 quarts a day but I am down to 1 quart every other day now. Just wasted to say thank you I have gardened most of my life but have learned a lot from you.

Hi Robbie I hope you will be there always as you have made my life a lot more do-able At one time before your making of the wonderful chair garden I was finding gardening exhausting disappointing and frustrating! Now with the chair garden, I am inspired to grow things that I never thought I could in containers You showed me how to do it for a reasonable amount of money and now I would not want to garden any other way! Thank you and Gary for all you do and all you share with all of us !! cheers from Vancouver Island BC Canada

Love you and your channel. You have given me such great ideas especially since I do not have a large space but want to grow a lot of food. So glad that you and Gary are continuing your love of what you do and you have such a desire to help others. Thank you for all that you do.

I LOVE your channel. My best friend turned me on to you guys. I love your way of doing things. I don't want a 5000$ garden. I want one that grows vegetables and fruit and flowers. That makes me happy. You are enthusiastic. You are real. You are what I CAN do!! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the hummers. I ordered three of the sale fountains. 🤭 I have learned a lot about hummingbirds from you too. Thank you for all you guys do. 🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for all that you and Gary do, I've been watching you for years. Thanks for the solar fountain video. I ordered three and they'll be here soon so I can plan how I want to set them up, with your help, of course. Keep doing what you are doing and share with us as you can. Enjoy the evening. Catherine

Hi. Robbie and Gary. I'm glad your sticking around. I so enjoy both of your fantastic gardens and information on how to garden. And make birdbaths and ⛲️ fountains. So much to mention. But you two do it all.😊 I Love your little Doggie ♥️ so adorable. And the other Doggies 🐕 also. The hummingbirds and bird gardens. Chair gardens. Cooking. You have taught my husband and I alot about everything. From your beautiful house and property is Awesome. I bought some seeds to start in the spring time. The snow melted last week we were under the polor freeze. Now we're under rainfall warning ⚠️ it's melting the snow on the mountains nearby. And is supposed to cause flooding in some areas. We are prepared for emergencies. Generators and plenty of foods. And all emergency items. 😊 no worries my dear friends Robbie and Gary. I'm glad your not going to quit and leave us. Yay 🎉🎉. Take care. See you again.

Hi Robbie, your videos are so interesting & Fun. I happily filled up our hummer feeders all summer 2023. It was so hot in southwest Louisiana, various wildfires & few live flowers around. I had to make shades for feeders, too. Have a 6x9 ft bog for the koi pool. The visiting birds quite enjoyed …. A cowbird bathed often. I will try more feeders in backyard.

It’s strange this is such a hot topic. I’ve known two who passed away and more recently one who made the millions and quit. And like you said, another who discussed the time constraints. I would like to share things I know, but I don’t think I could do vids on a regular basis. I enjoy gardening too much to make it a job. I don’t get crazy with spreadsheets and all for gardening-I’m old school-pencil and journal. Glad people like you give us armchair, cabin fever gardeners something to do.

You’re a treasure! Both you & Gary! ❤️ Every time I “open” a video it’s like finding a treasure! You said people always say I know u, you’re a teacher! And you ARE! Youre both excellent teachers & honestly what’s more important than learning how to be food independent to have food security? Grocery store food is getting more toxic by the day. The more toxic it becomes the more I hear about the “Lion Diet” or the all meat diet. It’s bc food grown in the ground is destroying the human body bc of all the chemicals etc. Whereas cows & other ruminants have more than one stomach & the benefit is incredibly clean food but that’s whole nother topic! My point is people are hungry for safe healthy delicious food that doesn’t cost an arm & a leg & that’s where my favorite teachers come in! You guys teach us how to grow healthy food from the moment the cameras on to the moment it goes off. And the birds & bugs & fluffy tail wags for broccoli is all bonus footage! Thank you for working so hard for us Robbie, you’re an amazing woman & very loved by 1000’s of strangers worldwide! Here’s to 2024 🥂May God bless you both with a fantastic year! ❤

You are one of my favorite garden channels. I have unsubscribed to a lot of them. Everybody else got really big, and everything got too fancy. A lot of them went more into landscaping, etc. The vibe just completely changed. I like simple, cheap, innovative gardening. I don't want to see people paying people to put in beautiful, professional stone planters, etc. I want to see gardening. Even gardening that can be upscaled. And yes, I have sanitised dirt that way for seed starting. 😆
