It seems like your forehands with the star pig had significant more wobble, which that kinda of off axis torque could cause the flip up on the star while the r pro were more smooth out of your hand

Thanks for giving your Star Pig some camera time! That forehand flight is similar to what I've come to love from the gummy champ run. With power, super easy flip-up without it thinking about turning over, then it dumps. When thrown low, you can draw a straight line in the woods with it, or give it more height for a straight flight with moderate finish -- no glidey fade like most approach discs. It sits beautifully next to a Zone, A2, Pyro, etc. since it's so different.

I just found out Danny is moving on as a content creator to start a new chapter at KSU. This is so sad but I am happy he is moving on with something new. I know you have contact with him if you could let him know he will be missed and if you can get a collaboration with him I know I would appreciate it. I lost my glow pig that made me fall in love with the pig. My rpro is great, but not the same. Picked up a sun dried vibes Pig. Excited about that, but I still want to replace my glow porker.

Ok, I have to admit I got real excited about a Star Pig, and then the realization that it is a precious run and not a normal batch led to semi-heartbreak. I will definitely help sign any petition or go on a multi-minute hunger strike to help Innova realize they need to make this available. Robbie, I would def. pay more for star. However, have you noticed that most halo discs are very pop-top? Lots of dome? Yeah, I think we don't want a halo pig... I mean, yes we want it, but we're not going to like it. I'll settle for normal star.

Seems like we should ask but at same time be happy with what we get and now that's nothing lol. I check every day and only thing I've seen pop up is Nexus Glow Pigs and those are great except they are white/clear ish and so is snow.

It’s definitely possibly. I just got a halo star Emperor with the Bodanza stamp of Infinite and it’s close to being board flat. Zero dome at all. For sure rare but just like it’s hard to get a premium plastic pig, its still doable.

I’ve been throwing a star toro in place of a skippier premium plastic pig. There’s really not a huge difference in the flight except it skips more. It works for me but I’ll gladly replace my star toro for a star pig!

I am fine with Pro Pigs since they're stiffer and a lot more sturdy than the R-Pro version. That said, the R-Pro for these Pigs isn't as soft as the R-Pro used in other discs, like their Rhyno, Dart, and Aviars. But like you I'd prefer a Star or even Champ option of the Pig. Also the flight plates have been flat on all the Rhynos I've seen with R-Pro plastic, but more domey with Star and Champ. The Animal - made in Nexus, KC, and Star plastic, was unusually domey for Star, but flat for the other 2 plastics. Innova: please give us flat top Pigs and Animals in Star plastic!

It would really suck to fall in love with a disc like that and have the company just never make it in premium plastic. It's weird that they make Rhynos in star, halo star, and champion but only make Pigs in putter plastic. I'm sure you've tried other options but I'd guess the Rhyno is the closest? I use Tombs in star (and I-blend) but they don't feel or fly like a Pig, I thought Infinite might have a sneaky alternative but there isn't a thumbtrack disc over there, the Ruin is probably the closest (in tons of premium plastics). Maybe a Gateway Devilhawk? Discraft Ringer GT? Slammer? Copperhead? I'll shut up, I'm sure you've dug deep trying to find alternatives already.
