YESSSS whenever people say "we need PVE servers!" my response is always "No, we need private/custom servers." PVE servers only help one side of the playerbase, being able to make and customize private lobbies benefits _everyone_ and gives an already amazing game even more longevity.

Idea: SoT rpg turn based fighting where each side goes at a time with there weapons fire/blunder bombs and maybe even a disney stick or ashen winds skull, it would be an interesting game where depending on what role you had would decide your weapon load out and the items your given. See when I say I want Private Servers for Sea of Thieves this is EXACTLY the kind of shenanigans I mean by that. Like imagine being able to set up fun events like this without relying on RNG, PVP tournaments made more easily manageable, and honestly hey - being able to do Tall Tales without little Timmy Fortnite going after you the entire time because REASONS:tm:.

Private servers would ruin the entire point of the game. It’s far more fun when stuff like this happens naturally instead of having to set it up

@@sublime7617 I agree to disagree on this. Firstly they don't have to give out any treasure/reputation if that's a concern. And secondly this WAS (likely) something set up, it's just instead of being able to set it up easily they had to server hop/merge a bunch until they all got together. Similar to Blurb's birthday event.
