Very cool mod. Definitely a lot closer to the Forbidden Planet version. I’ve done a lot of video game console mods but none on figures so this was interesting. Thanks for sharing.👍

It looks like your wiring is a bit off. It looks like the the alternating lights in his chest is also in his speaking. Thanks for the the info. I have 2 of them and plan on modifying both. I might add a motor for the gyros to turn independent even while talking.

The wiring is correct. Other people who have done this mode works the same way. All the mod does is turn the lights on when he talks rather than off when he talks. Thank you for watching.

@@rwheatley0206 I have made the mod for talking on my Robby. If you look at your mod you can clearly see a blinking light in his speaking. It is alternating with the sax valve light. I believe you have the wire for the sax valve instead of the wire for the mouth. There is a bunch of wires to sift through and it would be very easy to get the wrong yellow wire. My Robby does not light up in the same way as yours. Might be interesting to check, or not.
