We sent our old forklift off to a new home. Then we started bending tube for the interior cage and plating the front fenders in. This is all design on the fly. I have a concept in my head but as we go it's constantly changing. So many factors to consider when building from the ground up. Hope you all are enjoying seeing this come together. I love the strategy here. Making the body frame out of tube is very quick, and then the sheet metal panels are pretty straight forward. It also ends up looking uniform, as opposed to square tube, angle iron, I-section mixed together.

Very interesting watching you guys make that rectangle piece. If Fab Rats had done it, they would have measured it, bent it, found that it was wrong, then cut it and stuck a tube inside and welded it to make it fit. (I don't know why they don't just plan to do it that way from the start.) You should invite Paul Cox over and teach him how to bend things right the first time.
