Very little mentioned about Teeny this episode which I believe is undeserved. Weirdly enough, the “easy vote” was the most beneficial for Teeny out of anyone else. They shut down any plans from Sam and Genevieve to vote Andy, and essentially strong armed the vote to be Kyle, shutting down any talk of voting out Genevieve (Preventing some very strong players from making moves). This was the first vote where Teeny completely dictated the vote and if they’re able to articulate this at final tribal it could be very powerful. This was also a great episode for Rachel but it was the perfect time for her to take out Genevieve and take credit for it. You still have Kyle has a ginormous shield and all your advantages to offset the dangers of growing your target. Now we’ll have to wait and see if Teeny can overcome Rachel’s block a vote and idol- but if they can, I see a very satisfying overarching storyline that will be fun to look back on and rewatch. (This is my case for the fishy to go to Teeny 😂) Ig while I’m at it, since I’m not sure if I’ll be able to watch the Knowitalls live this week, I’ll post the fishy counter here: 2: Sam 1: Andy, Caroline, Gabe, Genevieve, Rachel, Rome, Sol, Sue, Teeny Andy also got his 5th episode title!!! 4th in a row WTF???

I think Rachel's episode tonight was shades of Tony's extortion episode of Winners at War. Just an episode where she COMPLETELY showed she is the main character and frontrunner to win it all She got a new advantage She is in final 3s with both sides of the majority alliance (almost like a Kim or Boston Rob) She won immunity to get out the biggest immunity threat in the game She still has an idol She is insulted on ALL SIDES and is more or less guaranteed to win the season unless she loses fire. A true legend, she did get a bit lucky with advantages and Sol saving her, but at this point she has used the tools she was given and I don't think she can be stopped

Rachel was going home 6th out then gets saved by Sol, then finds the advantage in the auction to find the idol, then today draws the purple stone to get the block a vote. Everything is going her way. All of Teeny, Andy, Sue, and Caroline would be dumb to sit in the final 3 with her.

Caroline still have some time to build her reps, she's clever and played a good game so far. The other three though... Teeny has done NOTHING in this game. Always playing the safe game and going with the majority. Andy is delusional if he can talk the jurors his way. And Sue. Sue is a goat. Caroline's best chance is to take it Rachel before F4

The thing with Rachel is that, appart from sharing that she won the vote block (with doenst sound as scary If you are with her) they dont know as much about how much power shes holding. As Tiffany mentioned, shes also playing well on make It seems like shes following Andy's agenda, shes following Caroline and Sue agenda so they might think they can keep her till the end and claim she was just a follower with some little Lucky.

Love Hunter and Tiffany and so great to have them both this week!!! I think Genivieve realizes the only way she can make it to FTC now is to take on the role and mindset of a 0 vote finalist. Then she can use her powers of persuasion at FTC to possibly pull out the win in a split vote. Unless someone like Rachel makes some really unexpected move, I think all 3 finalist get votes this season. GREAT cast! And Gabe sticking with Sue rather than his fellow threats was his and the rest of their downfalls. The Sol vote pretty much put the nail in the coffin for him, Sam and Kyle. And building up Gennieve's threat level to try to make it to 8 with his alliance of 4 only sunk her game too.

I gotta say I'm afraid of the direction the show is heading. It seems every season that there's a group of people that call themselves the "underdogs" (even though they really aren't) and get together to vote out the bigger threats and it's getting stale. Hopefully in future seasons the bigger targets can stick together so we get more exciting gameplay.

Upcoming seasons might open contestants mindset about .Not the first time there It takes a consective type of strategies/winners for players to go with a mindset on treats... Cant blame the new era players after what happened at most of the 20's-30's seasons. Season 50 will be for sure a interesting one cause alot of the returning will come with a complete different approach.

this has been a talking point for years now, that survivor is in the “tallest poppy” era where they each season people just go after the perceived biggest threat at that given time. Some winners like Dee and Yam Yam navigated around this meta, but it’s how we get seasons like 43 and 46 where the final 3 are filled with people that didn’t actually do that much in the eyes of the jury. The players are too caught up in the meta of it all, too focused on who has the best resume and who’s getting the most screentime

Fun recap as usual! I enjoyed the duo guests and wouldn't mind seeing more of that in the future for the post shows. Although I will say maybe have the guests be from different seasons next time since this one felt a little heavy on the Season 46 talk especially with that one happening so recently. Would be nice to get different perspectives that way.

From our perspective though, Genevieve is perceived as a big threat because she drove a vote to get out Sol who was not looking to target her at all (terrible move) and isn’t a good enough social player to keep the target off herself. Caroline, in contrast, was a big part of the Gabe vote (was a great move for her) but not the sole driver and no one is pointing the finger at her saying she is a big threat. It’s because of her social game! Look at how well she dealt with that convo with Sue (who holds grudges for small things). Caroline is playing a really great game and still hasn’t been looked at as a threat. Her and Rachel are the best players left at this point and both bigger threats than Genevieve!

Hot take: they should have kept both Kyle and Genevieve and instead voted out Sam. He's had no power since the merge and is basically a goat himself. Whenever he tries to make something happen, it fails. With Sam gone, there are still two obvious targets/shields making it easier for the other 5 to stay on target and stick together. If Kyle loses the next one, it's Kyle. If Kyle wins, Genevieve would have a very hard time trying something when Rachel has a block a vote. She would have to pull in 3 of the underdog alliance. Sue wouldn't work with Kyle, Teeny wouldn't work with Genevieve and Rachel would be the obvious target for Kyle/Genevieve so it's impossible to flip the vote and Genevieve would go home still leaving Kyle as the target for the next one. Until last week it was still pretty even for me but at this point I'll be disappointed if Rachel doesn't win. Anything else would not be a satisfying storyline for me. Teeny, Sue and Sam haven't had any agency post merge. Genevieve ruined her game with the Sol fumble. Caroline is just a diet version of Rachel who's worse at challenges and hasn't accomplished as much. And Andy is always talking a big game but ends up folding to others wishes instead of convincing people of his plan. I know there's still a lot of game left to play, but there has also been a lot of game played and Rachel is the only one I'm rooting for now to bring it home.

Pretty boring episode honestly. Made me less interested in the Rachel win (which seems so obvious now). If next to go is Geniveve and then Sam then it ruins a potentially awesome season by having a final 5 of Andy, Sue, Caroline, Rachel, and Teeny. In that case Rachel probably wins 8-0-0. Mind you, I like Rachel, but I want a winner to struggle to the finale, not coast.
