🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant comment. 👍 It did much better than I thought it would. I still think you'd be better off just buying a better rig out the box though! 😬🤣👍

@@DoURC I love my VERY heavily modded Defender as much as my CR18 because it's a bit of a bully and a beast, totally opposite to drive...but I know i'd feel different if it was my only rig and then was exposed to brushless magic...just like crisps, can't have just one!

I forgot to mention in my video, one of the main issues I ran into was the servo placement. I'd definitely recommend switching to a lay down servo setup, it would allow you to reduce the body height even more for an event better LCG. I also forgot to fit my 7KG servo, but was running a 1kg one from RCAWD. Be sure to check out Wayne's video to see what he did with his build. 👍

I love the purple vipers, I have one in my ascent18 and one in a scx24 ultra4 buggy I 3d printed.

Really nice motors aren't they. For the price they've got excellent slow speed control and loads of punch too. 👍

Awesome build mate. That thing bossed those wet rocks. I need some of those Pins 😮😊😊

@crawlstockrc Thanks very much mate. Yeah the tyres really surprised me how well they did in the wet. 👍

Great vid, imagine what it'll do in the dry! I'm with you don't like the open bed and no headlight lens 😢 thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much. 👍 Yeah those tyres were brilliant in the wet. Yeah closed bed would definitely look nicer. There's not much room under the body to move stuff forward either, so you're limited on where you can put stuff. 👍

Nice build , i Put a cr18p lexan body on my clone trx4m and it brilliant .
@DoURC12 сағат бұрын
Thanks very much 👍 I really like the CR18P Evo Pro body, especially the clear one. If you're not bothered about scale, a thin lexan body is a great choice. I was going for a happy medium with this rig. 👍

Nice work brother i too have a LCGDup trx4m defender i got the pearl white IR60 and i love it i didn't go all out like you did but it turned out very rock crawler capable all i did was buy the injora adjustable shock mounts that go directly on the trx4m standard frame rail did some brass on the bottom and the then lowered it down as far as i could using the shock mounts and adding the injora 59 mm shocks with big heavy brass rings on my injora wheels and big 64 mm tires and presto the thing crawls like a spider on the rocks also added the trx4m low range gears im really loving my little (LCG) rig

Thanks very much mate. 👍 Yeah I honestly don't think you need to spend loads to make a rig perform well. A decent set of tyres and a bit of low down weight goes a long way. I'm also a fan of making use of stock parts where possible, as quite often there better than the 'upgrades'. 👍
@NWrcadventures11 сағат бұрын
@DoURC yes i agree because if you wanna go back to the stock body it should clip right on no problem especially me i have like 5 different bodies i use on my trx4m defender chassis so im constantly changing it and i rather swap my bodies out easily instead of having to remodify everything to get em to fit im a scale/trail fella myself not an lcg nut but i dabble a bit on it but scale first for me

@NWrcadventures Yeah it's nice to have the option and not be stuck with a certain rig. Yeah I much prefer a nice scale rig. If drive my K10 Farm Truck over this any day of the week. 👍😁

Well done 👍. For the conditions it did really well. Like you said you have had to throw a lot of money at it though but it did some impressive climbs. Merry Christmas 🎁⛄

@DaddyDaughterRC-sw2zb Thanks very much, Merry Christmas to you too. 👍🎅 Yeah it did well, especially in the wet. But yeah, could probably get a better tenth scale for how much has gone into this little TRX4M! 🤣🤦
