@@DoURC I was doing wheelies with the new dj cralwer tires indoors and then suddenly no power. I thought it was a binding issue then I noticed that the wheels was free spinning so I changed the motor. Upgraded to the injora motor but still didn’t work and esc running hot. I also have no steering. I’ve order a new battery and ESC. We shall see.. shipping takes forever..

@keith6360 Oh dear, that's not good. If your wheels are free wheeling when not in neutral, I'd check your gears, you may have stripped them.

@@DoURC I did, and after putting on the new motor, it’s now back to how it was. But I just noticed my battery seems bloated. Will try to find someone who can check the battery. What happens is when a try it with the battery newly charged, it will move a steering servo a bit and then stop. Wheels still won’t turn. Only light and the servo for the 2 speed transmission works. Very weird. So I ordered a battery, esc and even a steering servo. Nobody told me this was a money pit 😅

Is this safe to take mudding right out of the box or did you do anything to waterproof it

Mine have been fine, it's waterproof out the box. Just bear in mind mud and water is the easiest way to break stuff and long term your bearings will need replacing. 👍

A tank and a TRX4M are two very different RC'S. I love my Heng Long Tiger tank. The TRX4M is decent especially if you're going to modify it. If keeping it stock, I'd consider an FCX24 or FCX18 instead, they're both better rigs out the box imo. 👍

Tbh that's all relative to what you do with it when it's deep in the mud. If you submerge it under water, it will lose signal eventually. In the mud, it's more about how hard you push it and what the muds like. 👍
