@canonerobum6848 You should balance between both. Both are really good since fever multiplier does what it says and perfect time gives u a larger window for perfect taps which gives u more score. But you should do one over the other based on ur needs like "do u have trouble with perfect taps"? Then go for perfect time etc

For people who are new to the game and confused what the gear stats mean: _______________________________________________________________________________ Perfect Points - This upgrade improves the point value of a perfect note hit. Combo Multiplier - This upgrade improves the value of the combo multiplier on note hits. Fever Fill Rate - This upgrade improves the rate at which the fever bar fills when notes are hit. Fever Multiplier - This upgrade modifies how much your score is multiplied by while in fever mode. Fever Time - This upgrade improves the duration of fever mode during a song. Perfect Time - This upgrades changes the timing window to get a perfect note hit. Upgrading this stat often comes with the demerit of lowering your Perfect Points or Combo Multiplier.

@@BeyesRedd No bc same😭 I’ve been playing for four years and JUST figured out back in January that you can edit your note speed, note colours and stage settings. I didn’t understand how everyone was ranking so much higher than me and how I was missing so many notes when the whole time all I had to do was change the notes to a speed that my brain can process, get some gear and actually train my minis.

14:18 Okay, so I've been putting off upgrading gear past +8 cuz I'm not sure what to do/how many boosts I should use per upgrade I've always brute-forced from 5 to 6 (no boost/prot) From 6 to 7 I do 1 boost/1 prot From 7 to 8, I've done 3 boosts w/no prot before (25 -> 100), although I know 1 boost and 1 prot to save boosts might be better (although that didn't work out too well, it took FOUR TRIES thanks to the RNG gods so I'm tempted to just keep doing 3 boosts) And now I'm not sure cuz each boost only does +15%, should I do 1 boost and 1 prot for the pity, and then keep spamming 1 prot/no boosts until the pity is high enough?

what i usually do with later upgrades is use 2 boosts per upgrade until i hit 10% with pity and then brute force from there. if i feel im too unlucky after a few tries i may use boosts again

to get the max points/score you will generally want to go for an elemental set (a set focused on one song color), and that is dependent on what color you feel like focusing towards

i think theyre decent for starting out until you start getting legendary blueprints. i personally wouldnt do more than maybe 6 or 7 upgrades on them because you will be replacing them eventually and they just become obsolete once you get legendary pieces that are better in every way

Good video, i watched your older video not too long ago when i found out there is such thing as gear in the game, i was pretty confused, but this video explained it a lot clearer. I do have one question however, is getting tokens really that difficult? 🥲 Im still new to all this gear stuff, and for the few months ive been playing robeats i've only gotten 1 token, i can barely do the weekly missions since they require me to play 28+ level songs and get a high score which i cant get with my current gear. And getting top 20 on the leaderboard is already out of the question. My only option now is to get the tokens through trading 😔 What are some good non-token gear i can invest in before i can craft the legendary gear?

tokens in my opinion arent too hard to get, but they can be hard to get once you need a lot of them i think the best way to get them early on is to join people who have good gear power and are hosting weekly songs (or simply ask them to help), the best time to do this is as soon as weekly leaderboards and missions reset (which is every sunday 1am pst) as much as i dont recommend it, your next option to getting gear without using tokens is gear that can be crafted with rare blueprints. alternatively, there are a few legendary blueprint recipes that dont require tokens (the hat, neck and back pieces for every element), so there is that as well
