Damn dude, just got recommended this video, hahah. I have a V2 from David Horne that's pretty similar, but this is definitely a work of art, hahah, and the screw on extension to the handle is a great idea. I'd seen it on OldManArmStrength's channel before, but didn't really know what kind of gripper it was.

The RB adjustable is great for incremental increases. The Vulcan is great if you're looking to compete. Makes your set mad strong.

I regret not making this my first gripper purchase. It has everything you need to gain strength. What most new grip strength trainers don't realize is that negatives are the most important tool for moving on.

I received mine today, indeed a work of art...Probably won't be using it to train though, too beautiful, rather I'll be treating this more like a collectible ;-)

This is in NO WAY a copy of David Horne's Vulcan Gripper. I have both and love both. They are both adjustable grippers but are very different. The Baraban Adjustable gripper in this video has a spread similar to a normal gripper and also an extender handle. The Vulcan by David Horne has a wide spread with a unique design making the set much more challenging. They both are great to have and compliment each other. Each one has its place in the grip world.

Great review! Looks like a very nice adjustable gripper. Never seen this version before.

Heyyyyy, can you tell me if the ridge handle is better than the knurled version? I have grippers with the handles being knurled and I can't imagine the ridge version being better since it makes it more slippery. Can I have your input if you regret purchasing the ridge version compared to the double knurled handle? thanks
@danielwicklow15997 ай бұрын
It's actually more slippery, at least the chromed version. I didn't want to mess up the beautiful finish with chalk, but if looks don't concern you, it should be fine when used with chalk

@1755ottoman10 жыл бұрын
this gripper is over $300. I've read people stating it is a lifetime purchase. So Worth the $300? Opinions? You would have to buy a lot of COC grippers… to match that price!
@accordsleeper10 жыл бұрын
If you're very much into grip then this is a great buy and worth the price. Hard core grip guys spend a ton more on equipment such as this. Take the Inch Dumbbell for example. That's around 600 bucks!!

How do you like it now ? Does the screws fit loose/shaky a bit
@Ve-suvius Жыл бұрын
You can tighten the screw. Or use Loctite on the threads if you want to prevent it from loosening up.

Im curious, how come its dangerous? Do the springs fly off?
@P2541-kz1cu3 ай бұрын
@@JordiHermsen96 heavy 1 rep max grips can break tendons if not warmed up. However repping above 10 reps will not cause injury (probably).
