He plays that Cop who is forced to do this reality TV stuff and they try to improve his acting. The genuine love and affection Scorsese shows Don touching his arm every now and then when Don was obviously quite frail etc was amazing👍

I was very young when Don was all over television. I was too young to stay up late to watch Carson, but for some reason, Don was always there. I watched CPO Sharkey and didn't know it was a horrible show, it was just funny to see Don Rickles. I watched the celebrity roasts that were popular in the 70s and didn't understand a single joke they all said. But it was all still so very funny. And then, as an adult, to see Don Rickles in Casino was a treat. And I didn't even know why. It just was. I was fortunate to be able to see many of those Carson shows in the 80s and 90s and somehow still kind of remembered bits and pieces, and Don Rickles always stood out. I hated that he died, even though he was 90 and had an amazing life. But for some reason, even at 90, I felt there might be more to see from Don. This was a really great video. I enjoyed every moment.

Don Rickles generated so much love in this world by disarming hate and division a still unrivaled spontaneous wit, cuttingly honest observation, and incredible timing. He is a legend and a treasure. A truly grandfathered comic in an era of eggshell comedy/social commentary. This whole Dinner with Don series is a time capsule that feels as intimate as the present despite whatever actual time it is viewed in. Thank you AARP for producing this series. Life isn't a journey with a beginning and end, it's a series of experiences that eventually cease.

I’m glad these stories were shared, almost a living memorial service, with Don able to comment and be him. I also mourn that so many more stories died with him. He deserved nine decades and more. Goes to show that all that we take with us is our experience... just glad I was able to experience him

Just discovered this. It's good to know that Rickles was sharp as a dagger to the end. Astoundingly funny man with unparalleled comic timing.

It's amazing how sharp and mentally clear Don Rickles was at 90 years old.

Not sure how I stumbled upon these, but these videos with Don Rickles are gold. I am glad they were captured before he passed. One of the best things AARP has done and should continue doing with other legends.

Man look at how the sarcasm from Don slowly rubbed on both de niro and scorsese, they started talking in a sarcastic way. Truly shows how much of a legendary comedian he is.

Nobody had DeNiros number like Rickles. He owned Deniro, Sinatra, and everyone else who worked with him. Truly a legend. God rest his soul
