It's so easy for a cresty horse to go btv. To the untrained eye they can look the biz but to get them to lengthen, engage behind and into self carriage is very challenging. Give me a horse with a ewe neck anyday to build up muscle and top line.

This is because this horse has a very well-built topline, meaning he naturally works in that outline. His muscles have developed so that it is actually comfortable for him to have that nice contact. His contact is actually very relaxed, his movement is loose and well through, his ears are flopping, they are to the side, showing acceptance and relaxation. His tail does not swish. There is no clear sign of tenseness. His contact and neck shape is all willing.
