Robert Eggers • OEUVRE

This is a new series I am starting that chronicles the works of some of my favorite filmmakers (à la Joel Walden's 'The Works' and Cornelis van Dijkhuizen's [the films of] series. Go check them out, please!)
We are starting out strong with Robert Eggers, who in my opinion has one of the strongest visual and phonetic language working today.
PS: I couldn't track down a high quality version of his first film Hansel and Gretel. The fidelity seemed a bit lost in the versions I tracked down (I was already pushing it with The Tell Tale Heart at 720p) so I decided to not use it.
