I cannot connect the ex air qcb BD to ex hcb BD midscreen. I either get one hit of hcb BD, or two hits, rarely do all 3 hits connect. It's very frustrating and I've tried delaying timing on qcb BD. Nothing.

2 meter corner combos, there are better ones. Missed (confirm) MAX cl.C (maybe cl.D, can't remember if it takes too long or not) xx f+A xx qcb+BD qcf+C dp+C xx qcfhcb+AC. Best corner damage for 2 meters for point. (confirm) MAX cl.D xx f+A xx qcb+K fbf+BD dp+A xx qcfhcb+AC

I didnt know about the second one :o first one, I found the timing for landing the fireball rly difficult so I just used the dbl dp combo

You just do heavy fireball. It's foolproof.

Also, the best corner 1 meter damage for point/2nd Robert is confirm MAX cl.D f+A qcb+BD qcf+C fbf+BD dp+A EX Fireball is almost always not worth using in a combo, outside of some very stage-position dependent stuff.

I didn't see your EX fireball comment till now. Really? I mean i only used it for the 4 bar combos because i wanted to run out the MAX bar so I could use an advanced cancel. Is there a better option?

Hi, I'm sorta new to KoF, I played a little bit of XIII for fun but when XIV came out, I decided that I wanted to try getting into the series a bit more. This is probably a really noob question, but how do you cancel his DPs into his fireball super and ranbu super? I just can't seem to pull it off. Btw, I'm loving the other combo guides you've been posting, can't wait to see more! 👍

Andrew Kim Hey! No need to apologize; we were all noobs at one point. To cancel into the running super, just hit the dp, then do a qcb P. For the fireball super, do a hcf P.

Sorry for the late reply! Position is where you have Robert on your team. Depending on where your character is, your Max mode bar will be a different length.

I'm a beginner from Taiwan. KOF XIV is my first FTG. May I ask a question? Hope some one can help me :) cr.B x3, HCB+B seems the easiest combo for Robert. But no matter how I try. I just can't combo from cr.B to HCB+B. Is there any skill for doing this?

Wei-Hao Lin My best advice is try holding down forward when using the cr B's so you can move your stick to the start of the hcb just a slight bit faster. otherwise just practice hard! You can do it

How long does it take to get this level of timing down? Also any tips for Robert v Athena?

dbjungle Mmm not sure, ive been playing FGs for six years so it feels pretty fundamental for me. Just keep at it. Her zoning is a little better than yours. Try to slowly agress and make her greedy for something you can take advantage of. Your pokes are better so try to stay in the mid range.

Coliflowerz I've played them since a kid, but just casually. I've always been better than my group of friends but not good enough to play online. I end up with no one at a similar skill level to play with. I love KoF 14 so I figured I should learn to play properly now.

dbjungle Try to find someone (preferably local) whod be down to spar with you at equal or perhaps slightly above you. Play often, watch matches, analyze your matches and learn from mistakes. You got this
