I've only been listening to this guy for three days. He is brilliant. "Sea Of Heartbreak" in his performance is the best among others. God look after him!

Love it too. So good. Almost saw him live in 1985. I'm sure it was a great show. He was still in his prime then.

I saw Robert with Danny Gatton on the Humbler tour. This band is better than a lot of the American ones I've seen him with in the last few years. Glad Robert is still out there rocking.

No US national media attention for his passing and likewise for Ed Ames who recorded Melody D'Amour "57 with his brothers, but plenty for post Beatle British artists. Gordon in my opinion was the one of the best of post 50's rockabilly singers. His Gene Vincent JD image was too much for most of the fickle American public. I saw him in Chicago in '77 with Link Wray. He stayed true to the style and cut some fine songs backed by Gatton and Link Wray that should have been hits. He probably would have needed some original material to be more commercially successful. Ironically, he was surpassed by the Stray Cats and Freddy Mercury of Queen ( Crazy Little Thing Called Love) that got the attention. Rest in peace my man, loved your music.
