Like the commentary said: "if chisora wants to win here, he needs to win big." Thats an unwritten rule, when you come to someones backyard. The fight was in helsinki, sure they favored helenius here. Chisora performance was good and in england he would have won that, but it was not good enough for a win in helsinki and i think thats kind of ok. Same with pulev/ chisora 2. In bulgaria pulev maybe won that. It was close. But as i said, you must do more to win in someones backyard.

Comparing 2011 Helenius with today Helenius is intresting. He looks much stronger now, and has better technique, he should have a titleshot. Chisora went the other way, he has been done for the last five years.

I tried to look at this as unbiased as possible, and as I like both these fighters I think I came fairly close to it. I have it 115-113 to Chisora, BUT there are a lot of swing rounds that, depending on if you like a couple of powershots over more jabs are very hard to score. Chisora is hitting a lot of gloves and arms in many of the rounds. So, even though I would have given it to Chisora, I must say it is not that easy to score.

The decision was a disgrace, as was Duke Mckenzie's scoring. Chisora won the fight fair and square. I scored it 8-3 with one even. Del Boy was badly screwed in this one.

@@madi2005 timings. At this time Chisora was a British domestic level fighter who had just got his ass handed to him by Tyson Fury (Whom also didn't have a great rep at this time). Helenius was one of the top contenders so for him to get a lucky decision over someone rated far below him was obviously going to cause his rankings to suffer as it would anyone today. Ofc British tabloid journalism would call it robbery of the year, they wear the same rose tinted glasses and thought Chisora beat Uysk!!!

No way man! Even a biased British commentary team had it 6-5 Chisora with one round level (which is a cop out, I almost never see judges score 10/10). And no way Chisora won the 12th he got lit up. It's can be confusing watching Chisora because he is so busy, but Helenius took so many shots on the gloves and came back with cleaner work throughout the fight. I think 7-5 Helenius is fair.

Chisora fought as best as he could, but it wasn't good enough, on home turf Helenius knew he had the advantage so didn't need to try as much as he obviously is capable of. While I agree it looked like a Chisora victory Helenius contained him, went the distance and hadn't even opened up. Let's say that Helenius would have opened up, I'm pretty sure the he would have been the clear winner, but somehow, he knew he didn't have to. If Chisora would have been fighting in his home country, I'm sure the story would have been similar. Would Helenius beat Fury... He is capable of going toe to toe with an aggressive non stop boxer, as demonstrated here, he looked a lot sharper in the second fight against Kownaki, which was a shame he kept punching him in the dick, lol. If Helenius does his road work and gets those jabs like lightning he could cause Fury some serious trouble. Whether he has the gut instinct to get that busy is yet to be seen, if I was Fury I wouldn't be over bothered by Helenius, but if Helenius plays smart, that would definitely be to his advantage. Fury knows he can be knocked down, and is humble about it, so it's for Helenius to step up and take what could be a very famous victory, though I think Fury has too much up his sleeve for Helenius to account for.
