I can’t get my head around this after 1985. Robert yelling at Holly and Anna is the wife. In 1985 it was the exact opposite.

I love these scenes. That was a really gutsy move on Holly's part, and Robert certainly didn't waste any time asking questions before shooting!

Notice the way he was so concerned about Holly the way he was hugging her and rubbing her back, just like he use to, he still loves her more than he wants to admit. If Robin wasn't around I bet there would have been some kissing too.

Wow this is all crazy I didn't watch a lot that year, I was mad b/c GH had gotten this whole new writing team...I really didn't get re-hooked until L&L came back in '93...

That always makes me mad that they call her Holly Sutton. Even today they refer to her as Holly Sutton.

@rach d I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go back to normal sooner than later. Even if it's only that Robert will rescue Holly and they acknowledge that they still love each other even if they can't live together. (I know that Emma rather live in England and Tristan has his family here.)

@@spots7418 it probably all depends on whether or not Emma completely recovers from COVID-19. she’s been fighting with it since last year Feb/March, she *thinks* she caught the virus on a plane from from the U.s. to the u.k. And she did what she was supposed to do: isolate and rest, and she credits her then-partner (now husband) Simon with driving “all over to different pharmacies to find one that was open and had the medicine i needed.” But then after two weeks, she said her mistake was started to exercise again with a personal trainer, she’s been sick ever since. I heard her on a recent pod-cast, she is on nine medicines, but i don’t know if that means she is well enough to fly. Maybe now that travel restrictions between the u.k. And u.s. have been lifted, Tristan can fly over, either get Simon or a local TV station to film them reuniting, declaring their love for each other. It wouldn’t be the passionate reunion we all hope for, but it could work.

@@robertandhollyscorpiofan2697 Yes, that would work for a while, She could have to recuperate from her kidnapping. Then when she does get better, she could come back to G.H. on occasion like mac and Felicia does. She did say on twitter she wanted to return. Meanwhile I wish somehow she or maybe a friendly guard would send a sprig of Holly to Robert so he can know she is alive and needs him.

I agree that the writing was terrible in 2006 & 2009. TPTB turned her into a crazy homicidal maniac. Maybe Tristan Rogers was bitter because of their real-life split and had some say in villifying Holly. The beautiful fairytale romance crumbled into dust. How sad😢.

I stopped watching after Tiffany and Sean left. Can’t believe they did that to Holly’s character. Why do they insist on destroying so many old favorites on this show? It’s ridiculous.

Robert left Robin in the care of Holly & Mac temporarily. He had every attention of coming back with Anna so they could resume raising her themselves.

These scenes are hard to watch for me. Holly is still the grifter, and Robert has nothing but bitterness and distain for her. They were the perfect couple once upon a time. I wish they'd never crossed paths.☹️
