It's nice to see that the master uses the same system as me for organizing the patchcords :-) Very nice patch, really enjoyed the process.

Hi. I finally bought starter rack 2. It's used but seems like most recent revision (with separate caps on potentiometers - not sure is this a way how to measure versions 😅). Will play a little with that and then order a few modules from manufacturer of will not able to find it used... (FX modules will be first for sure)

I want to give a try AE modular instead of eurorack. You are in this community many years - do you see progress over years? What do you think about AE future?
@The5thVolt2 жыл бұрын
There was so much progress! When I started with AE there were about 20-25 modules available ... now there are over 100 different modules including 3rd party modules! Also the community is absolutely amazing. Almost every day, someone posts new music on the forum. You can check out for yourself how the AE system and community has grown by reading the blog posts from the past 4 years: www.tangiblewaves.com/news

So does AE modular depends on one person? Why AE modular is not so popular as eurorack? It seems more reasonable... But low amount of 3rd party modules and wide public support?
@The5thVolt2 жыл бұрын
AE Modular has been around for only 4 years, Eurorack was invented in 1995 so it has a 20 year advantage. I would say that time will tell whether AE Modular will ever catch up to Eurorack. But currently there are over 100 types of modules made by tangible waves and a few 3rd party manufacturers. The community is incredibly productive and very welcoming to any newcomers. Why not jump in and become part of the fun?
