You might appreciate this. My mom in her 70s got obscessed with music. 3 years or so of evrrything the cello player, country, queen, disturbed, johnny cash, miley cyrus blond remake etc. One morning is was shocked out of my sleep. She died that day. I went to go pack up my house she lived in. Answer message. I called, friend on answer was a psychic medium. Said she was loving the music.....and died at 4 am and passed through me to say good bye. Said the music was amazing there.

This song always reminds me of my dad that passed away 10 years ago. He raised me by himself all my life because my mom passed away when I was just a baby. I have no memory of her but I do have videos and pictures and that makes me happy. All my life i aimed to make my dad proud but at the same time I was so lost and scared of losing him that I never had the courage to talk to him about life after he’s gone... he also never got to see me graduate high school and that thought never went away either 😞 I miss you dad. I hope you and mom are proud.

For me, this song has both a sad and a happy side to it. Taking the song title into account, it reminds me a lot of how simple and fun the days where when I was young, yet it also makes me think how the naive, overly positive, outlook on life I had back then turned out to be wrong. Contrary to what one believes as a child, life isn't just always going to be great, it will go downhill many more times than one thinks. Still, both sides hold some truth; life isn't awesome all the time but it tends to present a lot of good opportunities to you nonetheless.

The song is from 1995. I've known it since the Dream Version in 1996. A great masterpiece that reminds me of a wonderful time in my youth. to humans, music is a stimulant of sorts...for some it gives purpose and for others it makes them feel good. i'm with you when you say that you don't think you could stay sane without it though, as music to me personally makes me feel good and happy to be alive.

Yeah i really don't understand those people that don't care for music. Music sounds a lot better when i'm high for me too, which is nice :)
