No facade! Robert Mitchum was the coolest guy in Hollywood! He was a real down to earth guy, a promoters nightmare! It was a job of work he could do and paid his bills, no pretensions, but the interviewers were looking for something more profound and they just couldn’t believe his simple truth. Loved this guy!x

STILL my MOST FAV actor ever! Love to see all this interviews--over and over. He was brilliant--but didn't get all the roles I would have wished. El Dorado, a favorite! He was so ahead of the times! Under that sober exterior was a very multi-faceted, intelligent being.
