I wish you had included his performances in “The Winds of War” and “War and Remembrance”; the two miniseries productions which were so outstanding in his later years. Also, it would be nice if the AI programmer(s) could learn to pronounce Deborah Kerr’s name correctly. It’s pronounced “CAR” not “CUR”. She and Mitchum loved working together and did so three times in “Heaven Knows Mr. Allison”, “The Sundowners” and the television movie, “Reunion at Fairborough”.

This is kinda nutty as you'll see. Find the superb book, Heaven And Hell To Play With, that interviews everyone involved with The Night Of The Hunter, including the author, except Charles Laughton. It's the best book about a film I ever read, and I've read them all.

What you are showing on screen matters to what you are talking about. The repetitive scenes being shown almost on purpose to be out of sync with what is being said. Very frustrating! Great info but truly horrendously edited! Like awful. Better as a listen.

He was a good dude, friendly open very patient. i met Rob along time ago at his home in Hawaii north shore . Funny at the time i didn’t even know he was Mitchum the actor. i was 18 always smokin da kine! he didn’t care even let me try sum of the house blend it was ok, then i pulled out the hash buds! . Rob Didn’t burn with me just enjoyed talkin and watchin me burn away🚬🗿💨 .
