@LittleSeaSparrow I agree, but hostile is probably the wrong word. Everyone seems intimidated. Maybe it's the size of the room, maybe Waltz and Pattinson are terribly exhausted, but it seems like everyone is just... off. Waltz seems so irritated, making his answers sharp even though they're still pretty good. Pattinson looks like he hasn't slept for a few days and his answers lack the usual spontaneous brilliance (of being completely random). This conference looks like a play gone wrong

I think German is a very difficult language. Especially the dictation and the pronunciation. :/

The questions are very stupid and not exactly thought through.

If you're a working actor, you'd better be grateful to even have a press conference outside your home country where you don't understand a word of the local language. If Rob is the professional actor he ought to be, he would know that it comes with the territory. It's not anybody's fault that he doesn't understand German. The pity party for Rob needs to stop.

aww poor Rob! i find it quite unfair that Rob doesnt understand most of the interview unless the questions were for him or the director! gemein ist es irgendwie schon! er guckt so ahnungslos! :/ like what the heck are you talking about??

Why are they asking questions to Christoph in German and why is he answering in German? Why can't they just speak English, it seems kind of rude, since I'm sure Rob doesn't understand a word of it

Do Germans know that exist interpreters that translate their harsh language into the language of the hosts???

I'm german and I cringe at every question!! Though, I want to say that this has less to do with our general tone and more with the fact that the press wants to get an angry reaction out of Waltz. Which isn't nice either. Just me screaming at my phone in the hope they STOP 😂
