WOW!! So good to see Robert doing so well..he looked really good and so involved!! He hasn't lost his enthusiasm. Can't say the same for Alison...she looked like she didn't want to be even be there...totally a dead fish.....what a waste of talent...

There might be something going on with her health-wise. She recently left a show before the end and then they cancelled a few shows because someone “had the flu”…. Up until last night I was actually expecting a cancellation or postponement…

I’m shocked that this collaboration exists; Allison Kraus is so talented but I can’t say the same for Robert Plant. Her talent kicks his butt!!! Such an odd pairing. I cringe every time I think of it.

@@fernsmith-p7f knowing a bit about Robert Plant, I’m thinking he’d likely agree with you. He’s always been very humble about his place in music and since his solo career began over 40 years ago, has done an admirable job of surrounding himself with crack musicians. Alison Krauss is the prime example. That being said, have you considered that Alison Krauss has expanded her already admirable base and won new fans because of her association with Plant? There were 10k people out for the Toronto show and 3K (SRO) in Montreal. Let’s be honest, In these markets, they were there to see Robert Plant like I was. I had only heard of Alison Krauss before but certainly had never listened to her music until now. In the fact, the whole country, bluegrass, folks scene was not at all my jam. But that’s what music is all about: discovery and exploration. And that is what makes Robert Plant’s post Zeppelin career so interesting. He’s not afraid to explore and he’s not afraid to discover, and I guess to some extent he’s not afraid to insult peoples musical opinions. Cheers!

This is the kind of show public broadcasting would put on during fundraisers decades ago. I guess that’s obsolete now with you tube…This show shows a reimagined versions of classic tunes. Hard to object to-but it’s for old people… Difficult to overstate the grip Zep had on suburban youth in the early 70s. I truly don’t believe sitting and listening to music (often under various influences) is something that is of interest to young people today-it certainly was then! My 20 something son said no one he knows listens to Zep. Sometimes I feel like a relic.

What I don’t understand, he didn’t want to get back with Page & JPJ, wanted to put Zeppelin behind him yet plays Zep music with her. They should reunite & tour while we still have the 3 remaining members, they could slow the songs down etc. or write new songs. He doesn’t need to belt the songs out like he once did, us die hard LZ fans would just be happy to see them together.
