Oh Lordy Robert Plant keeps us fascinated with his performances even after all these years and throat surgery - always such a pleasure to watch him perform

It's a big call, but even after all these years this might be my favourite version he's done in his solo career; absolutely love that Mr Plant never rests on his laurels, and always throws back to his original influences!

It's so refreshing to see Robert poking fun and having fun. I remember the later Page/Plant shows when Robert was clearly "done with doing this." Who the hell can scream into a mic for 50 years anyway? Compare this with other aging "artists" that now mime to backing tracks. Big names. Huge shows. All mimed. This is fun and real.

I was going to that jazz festival but got sick, ended up in my hotel room for the whole weekend. As I am Australian and travelled to New Orleans for the first time fulfilling a dream of mine I was not a happy camper. Oh well 😂😊
