I saw this movie at a matinee at the Cinerama Dome, Hollywood. I’m not sure if it was Dec. 1973 or Jan. 1974. The remarkable thing was George Roy Hill was in the audience sitting a few rows from the back of the house. I was across the aisle. When the movie finished and he was leaving his seat I heard him say “That’s the best movie I ever made.”
